1. What’s their full name? Why was that chosen? Does it mean anything?

Eris Hawke. She doesn’t actually have any middle name...

I gave her that name because her life tends to be pretty chaotic. As for why her parents named her... well, it was actually the name of one of her grandparents.

2. Do they have any titles? How did they get them?

Eris is the Champion of Kirkwall, named so after defeating the Arishok in single combat and preventing further bloodshed with the Qunari.

She’s also the First Mate of Isabela’s new ship.

3. Did they have a good childhood? What are fond memories they have of it? What’s a bad memory? 

Eris’ childhood wasn’t altogether that bad. Her life mostly went downhill after her father died. 4. What is their relationship with their parents? What’s a good and bad memory with them? Did they know both parents?

Eris got along better with her father than her mother - she really looked up to him, and was quite similar to him as well. Her relationship with her mother improved slightly in her last years, before her untimely death.

5. Do they have any siblings? What’s their names? What is their relationship with them? Has their relationship changed since they were kids to adults?

Eris was very much a Big Sister to her younger siblings, Carver and Bethany. Carver resented this a lot, wheras Bethany hid behind it for a long time. After Carver’s death, Bethany started coming into her own a lot more, eventually turning herself over to the circle in an effort to not burden her family any more. Eris was horrified by this, naturally.

45. How do other people see them? Is it similar to how they see themselves? 

A lot of people see Mehhi as a bit of an oaf. that, or they just see her muscles... Mehhi thinks quite highly of herself actually, to be honest. She’s a bit over-confident.

46. Do they make a good first impression? Does their first impression reflect them accurately? How do they introduce themselves?

Mehhi’s main method of hitting on girls is flexing while waggling her eyebrows. I’m sure that’s all you need to know.

47. How do they act in a formal occasion? What do they think of black tie wear? Do they enjoy fancy parties and love to chit chat or loathe the whole event?

Mehhi wears a lot of furs to formal occassions. Black tie wear more of Bethari’s thing than hers. She spends a lot of time at parties bragging about herself or generally getting into silly shenanigans and dragging Brynja along.

48. Do they enjoy any parties? If so what kind? Do they organise the party or just turn up? How do they act? What if they didn’t want to go but were dragged along by a friend? 

Mehhi absolutely LOVES moots. What’s better than drinking heaps, boasting about your adventures, performing feats of strength, and making pretty ladies swoon? 49. What is their most valued object? Are they sentimental? Is there something they have to take everywhere with them?

Mehhi cares a lot about the people in her life. She’s actually pretty sentimental, but that doesn’t really extend too much to physical objects. she doesn’t really take good care of her belongings.

50. If they could only take one bag of stuff somewhere with them: what would they pack? What do they consider their essentials?

Thanndi dreams that Royal Orchid will one day be successful and helpful to all in Tyria (she’s got her work cut out for her with the membership roll...). Her desires are well hidden.

Mehhi wants to be the kind of hero that ladies swoon over. she desires lots of them.

Felix can only hope that he will one day be half the charr Rytlock is. He really wants to just meet Rytlock properly and talk to him lots about previous battles and other things.

so kuroimarzipan and I just did our norn girls lvl 60 quests and basically I may have bombarded her with sad headcannons about how the quest line might have gone in a world where the events of both the vigil and priory line happened side by side. in apology for the sad here I am writing up one of the potential sad possibilities in ficlet form below the cut.

I can do this - you guys work on clearing the docks, the few of us can get to the tower alone. It wont be high priority there shouldn't be too much resistance. It’s ok Mehhi, you’re needed here more - you don't have to play guard to little me forever. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid!” Brynja mutter angrily to herself as she finished off the last adjustments to the enchantment.

It had been stupid.

She’d just been so stupid and angry since they lost claw island - since they lost Sieran and Forgal. Everything since then, it had just been more salt into the open wound of her failure.

She’d already gotten so many of her fellow scholars killed by not being fast enough to warn them of the attack. What was the handful she’d dragged with her up to this tower compared to the river of bloody failure behind her.

She felt her last minion fall, connection cut. That was ok. She was done.

Brynja fired, the gate fell. Sieran and Forgal had done so well holding it so long but it was time for the others to claim the island back.

As for her? She turned around, dagger raised ready to go down with a fight but resigned. She knew her chances against such a hoard, alone, injured and drained.

She pulled in as much of the life force around her as she could, creating her strongest shroud.

At least this was a good death. A legend worth telling. Even if it was of one so foolish. She just wished...

“I’m sorry Mehhi. Please, please survive out there. Get Zhiatan for me.”

She ran at the hungrily approaching hoard.
