Guess who went to the Commonwealth Games! It was pretty freaking fun watching people who can actually do sports. As the holidays come to a close, my goal for term 2 is going to be to stay dedicated to studying and to not let tv shows distract me so much.
okay it’s official!! I’m gonna start a studyblr page as a 2nd year pre-med student with 3 jobs working 5 days a week and record every step i’m taking to get into med school!! It starts now!
Life is not always a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes, playing a poor hand well.
Jack London
Tried making some backgrounds
I’m currently working on a pamphlet for my church’s Christmas musical, it’ll be a story about Saint Nick (in Swiss German it’s samichlaus)
I showed my first draft the team leaders and they thought it was good.
But one of the secretaries keeps suggesting changes (she did that with my kids days one too) and by now I’m kinda over it. She just send me an mail where she wanted me to change the word “Anmeldung” to “Anmeldetalton”. First of all you wrote it wrong, it’s “Anmeldetalon” and secondly do you really think a bunch of 5 to 14 year olds know what the f your talking about? Also don’t come at me with the “???” when you can’t even send your mail in one text color.
I told the team leader I’m closest to, how she acts and what she wants me to do and the leader just said “I’ll talk to her. We really like your draft”
So I’m still frustrated because of the secretary but also really happy because the leaders have my back ^^
You're always one decision away from a totally different life

Honestly, this quote freaks me out and gives me hope at the same time.
For one I’m constantly afraid of doing the wrong thing and not even sure if what I’m doing now is the right thing. But it also keeps reminding me that, at any given time, I can save my world.
