Ok... so I found this old Furina!MC au idea, DEEP in my drafts. It wasn't at all finished, so I decided to dust it off and see what I could do with it. I can't promise much, but here I go!
Basically, an idea revolving around Gamer Girl MC, who's game avatar is 'Furina'... and she gets dragged into a game via her new dragon husband, thus becoming Furina!MC.
It was a normal night for MC. Stream for a few hours, talk to chat, occasionally play a game (usually Minecraft or different Pokémon games).
However, tonight's stream was a little different. It all started with one of her mods interrupting her as she was shiny hunting a Dratini in Pokémon ZA.
They asked her if she was going to try out a new open RPG called Glory of Dragons.
And MC had no idea what they were talking about? What was this game again? She usually only played only certain games, so she didn't keep up with the current trends that much.
Her chat quickly overruns her with demands that she plays it. It had good visuals, storytelling, fight mechanics, and unfairly attractive characters that you could romanticize!
All and all, it sounds like a good game. One that MC could get behind.
So, she bought the game and started a new file where she quickly created her in game avatar.
It was nothing too special. Just a young woman with long white hair with blue highlights, and also with heterochromia blue eyes with teardrop pupils in them.
Choosing her main element as Hydro, and her starting point as Fontaine, she typed her Avatar's name in last, Furina, and loaded in.
It didn't take long for her to be dragged into a storyline... One that even her chat, with all their knowledge on this game, had no idea about.
The potential love interest? The Hydro Dragon Sovereign, the King of all Vishaps, the Heart of the Primordial Sea, the Lord of Hydro itself... The Leviathan.
MC didn't understand how he was a love interest cause from what she could tell, he didn't have a human form. Could one even romance a Dragon?
And also, he was apparently the big bad of the RPG? Really?
It all started when she walked into Fontaine and came across some NPCs threatening possibly one of the most adorable creatures she's even seen in any video game.
The little one was apparently called a Melusine... and was one of Leviathan's many 'daughters', and to MC's distaste, her viewers said she should just ignore 'it' and continue on into the city.
Something about finding either the cute Lyney or the sexy Wriothesley, which only made MC scrunch up her nose in annoyance at the wording.
So, for the first time, she ignores her chat, saving the Melusine, who she learned was called Carole, and was dragged to meet the cheerful Melusine's father.
And that's how she ended up partnering up with Leviathan, helping him with his goal of reclaiming his stolen Authority from the Hydro Archon, Egeria, and so on.
During this, MC had to shut off the stream as she kept getting toxic comments from her chat who made it very clear they didn't like the route she was taking.
So, without the toxicity, MC continue playing through the night, getting sucked into the story of Leviathan.
For as much as he's emphasized to be the 'bad guy', MC saw him in a different light. He was a Dragon who had everything taken from him. His home, his fellow Sovereigns, and both his life and Authority.
He had every reason to be evil... but even so, MC could see his kind side with the way he treated the Melusine and those that earned his trust.
She didn't regret taking his story route despite her chat being all toxic towards her for doing it. Not one bit.
Which is why when she got to the end, she couldn't help but feel sad...
But just as she thought nothing else would happen, that the story was over, Leviathan turned to her game Avatar, saying something that shocked her.
He asks her to be his consort.
To be honest, MC more or less forgot this was a romance kind of RPG as there wasn't much romancing going on with Leviathan.
So, it kinda threw her for a loop when she was hit with this reminder. But even so, she didn't see any reason to NOT accept it.
In fact, she MC was a little excited. Maybe more of the story will play out? A secret ending even? She loved it when games did that!
Excitedly, MC moves her mouse over the ACCEPT button and clicks it, expecting some secret easter egg or ending to show itself-
Except that doesn't happen. Instead, the screen goes completely white, and an odd sound begins to play.
A soft, but oddly creepy humming noise starts to leave her headphones... and MC suddenly starts to feel lightheaded, swaying in her gamer chair slightly as one of her hands went to her head...
Things only got weirder when out of the brightness of her computer screen, the silhouette of two hands start to come out, making MC question if she was hallucinating-
But she wasn't, as they gently cup her face.
They didn't feel like normal hands. They were bigger, most likely a mans, but they... the fingertips felt sharp, like claws. And the hands itself felt off, and she was sure she saw a glint of sparkly blue-
MC was scared, but was too dizzy to move, to scream, and all the while the hands held her face like she was fragile jewel.
What she was pretty sure was thumbs carefully rubbed under her eyes as if to coax her to close them, to sleep, and to her horror, it was working.
The humming in her headphones grew louder, the faint sounds of waves splashing echoing somewhere in the background, like wherever the humming was coming from was near a large body of water...
She struggled to keep her eyes open, even muttering a weak, "N-no-", but it was a futile effort as they fluttered shut, plunging her into darkness.
When the entity from beyond the screen notices this, a deep, rumbling growl fills the room, and slowly, those non-human, but very gentle hands, carefully tug MC through the screen.
As that happens, MC's body begins to glow. Begins to change.
And once she was fully though, MC's computer screen blackens, sinking the room into darkness...
But on the other side of that dark, DARK screen? Well-
..."-he actually did it! He brought mama to us!"
The sound of small feet along with excited whispers could be heard on the other side of a closed door as a large figure silently walked up to it, cracking it opens just enough to peer down at his little 'guests'.
Several adorable Melusines huddled by the door squeak in surprise the door suddenly opened, and they all gain sheepish looks as the man scolds them gently.
"Girls, please. Your mother is still resting from her journey, and her transformation is almost fully completed. So please return to your rooms for now... oh, don't pout at me. You can meet her in the morning when she is fully rested, ok?"
The Melusines pout as they look at one another, before all sighing in unison.
Once the small crowd of Melusines disappeared further down the hall, Leviathan closes the door with a sigh of his own before turning back to gaze at his nest... where his greatest treasure lays.
His treasure. His consort. His precious MC... or well, his precious Furina!MC, as MC's transformation into the world of Glory of Dragons was finally completed.
No longer did she look like her real-world self, as it just wasn't compatible for the Glory of Dragons world, so Leviathan had to take certain liberties... that being changing his new consort's form to fit her game avatar.
Sad as he was to do such a thing, as his little consort's original form was beautiful, but ah... sacrifices had to be made, and her game avatar was just as beautiful as her original form.
Now all the Hydro Dragon Sovereign had to do now was wait for his beloved consort to wake up, and then they will enjoy their new life together... as they should.
