Before I accepted my calling to ministry, I was scared. I didn't know how people would react to this chick with tattoos, fishnet stockings, 6-inch heels, short hair, and thick thighs who write books with sex and cursing. I was terrified and ran for a long time before surrendering to God. But then something happened. Child, I started believing in myself. See, I figure if God saw fit to call me, this means HE CHOSE ME and if He chose me, He anointed me and I'm no longer apologizing for who I am. I survived me! Baby, I sacrifice a lot (time, money, tears, prayers, family, friends, invitations, sleep, etc,) for my anointing and gifts. The books I write, I don't play with those assignments because somebody's life is being saved by them and if you don't like them, fine but I ain't stopping. My preaching, I don't play with it because somebody's life is on the line and if you don't like it, cool but I ain't stopping. My service, I don’t play with because somebody’s life is on the line. If you don’t like it, okay but I ain’t stopping. For these reasons, I no longer apologize for WHO I AM! Child, my struggle paid for this harvest and I'm not giving up anything, I ain't apologizing for nothing, I ain't explaining nothing and I'm not paying not-ah-penny to fit in. It's either accept all of me and my worth or nothing. I survived me! Oh ... And if you got a problem with me, take it up with God playa. HE CREATED THIS AND HIM DID GOOD 😋🤷♀️ #SURVIVINGME You can survive you too ... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088Z1DNZ5/ . . . . #UrbanChristianFiction #MemphisAuthor #BlackIndieAuthors #BlackIndieLove #AllAuthor #whatImreading #IndieAuthor #AAChristianFiction #shewritestruth #ChristianAuthor #IndiePublishing #blackchristian #AfricanAmericanChristianFiction #hersuccess #LakishaJohnson #journalideas #journal #AuthorLakishaJohnson #blackgirlmagic #journaling #journalingsavedme #journalinspiration https://www.instagram.com/p/CnZq5Y1O09I/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
