Just thinking about Luo Binghe telling Meng Mo to go into Shizun's mind and keep an eye on him after he's out of the abyss.
Meng Mo is so relived because years, YEARS in Luo Bingge's mind filled of nothing but thoughts of Shen Qingqiu. Not to mention now Xin Mo in the mix. Nothing could come close to that...
He finds out he was very wrong. So very wrong.
Meng Mo turning up in Shen Qingqiu's mind looking at all the chaos of thoughts and anxiety and all the repressed thoughts and feelings shoved into corners. There is so much baggage there's no room for him.... not to mention the weird blue glowing thing staring at him... and then he gets the litany of Shen Qingqiu thoughts... they're all about Luo Binghe...
It's just as bad.
It's worse.
He hate them both so much.
Just Meng Mo showing up in Shen Qingqiu's mind and going 'damn bitch you live like this?'
i find it really sad and concerning that meng mo, a demon that sees pain as a prideful thing, was extremely careful when he asked shen yuan if he wanted to see shen jiu's past memories and was even concerned when shen yuan agreed. he even went, "yo. you sure about that?"
and mind you, he showed portions of shen jiu's backstory because even if shen yuan wanted to see it, he limited it as to not trigger him. which is... highkey really sweet! he was rightfully concerned and even carefully picked out the least traumatic moments...
it just makes me wonder what type of events did meng mo witness to be concerned, and also label the things he did show shen yuan as "not as traumatic", since what shen yuan saw was absolutely not any lesser than traumatic...

panel 1: Luo Binghe and Shen Yuan are looking at each other lovingly, with a heart overhead that says "Having a moment."
Panel 2: Shen Yuan and Luo Binghe jump apart as Shen Tan, Shen Yuan's little sister, appears behind them, loudly slurping on a can of coke.
Panel 3: Shen Tan looks at Shen Yuan and says "I know what you are-" Shen Yuan interrupts her, shouting "Shut!"
Comic 2
A single panel of Binghe, standing casually, says "Ha ha, yeah modern China is whatever, I didn't even need to know about Shizun's past and where he came from I'm completely chill and normal-"
Meng Mo says, "boy." leaning over from behind Binghe, pointing to a flashback of the previous night. Binghe is crouching over a book, notes scattered around him and with a movie playing on a laptop beside him while Shen Yuan sleeps in the background. From the corner, Meng Mo says "Kid, you ain't gonna be able to finish all that before your Shizun wakes up-" which Binghe interrupts by shouting "So slow down time!"
Comic 3
Panel 1: Shen Jiu, limbless and naked, hanging from chains, is visited by a system. It says "Heyyy so your life kinda sucks rn (lol), wanna give us your body*?" There are button underneath, a very small "no" and a giant "Yes!" The fine print says "bodies traded in belong to the system in perpetuity at all points in the timeline including retroactively <3"
Shen Jiu replies "guugh?"
Panel 2: The System says "Close enough!" and there is a bright flash
Panel 3: Shows Shen Jiu now as Shen Er-Ge, second son of the Shen Family. Bullet points tell us he reincarnated in as a baby, still remembers his past life, and has really been craving some proper tea.
Panel 4: Shen Yuan stands in front of Shen Er-Ge with Luo Biinghe. He starts to say "Er-ge, I want you to meet my friend-" only for a system window to show up, saying "New Mission! Enemies to In-laws: Bad blood is thicker than the water under the bridge! Accept? Yes/ No."
All of them looked shocked, with Shen Yuan yelling "What the fuck!"
Imagine if Shen Yuan transmigrated into Meng Mo and how OP Luo Bingbe would be in the abyss. Like:
LBH: Is this edible? *Holding a lion sized animal with spikes as fur*
MM/SY: Yes! This is the 10.000 spike porcupine lion. It might not be very tasty, but its meat is better than that luminous flower frog, we found a few days ago.
And would Luo Bingbe actually call Meng Mo, Shizun? Like he would 100% like Meng Mo more than Shen jiu.
