Considering your trick or treating events with claude, did you do anything fun like that at the academy on april fools day?
I personally did nothing. I’ve made my sentiments on April Fool’s known. Fewer students were on campus at the time, as classes were not yet fully in session and travel arrangements were still underway, so there weren’t many people present to contend with.
Claude, however, was there because the House Leaders were considered a priority for Garreg Mach. That was why I was there along with Lady Edelgard, Dimitri, Dedue, Hilda, Lorenz, and Claude. I understand Count Gloucester called in some favors to have his son in the advance group as well. Between the impish impulses of Hilda and Claude, they had no small amount of delight inflicting pranks on the rest of us equally.
I’ll grant them that... Title and rank spared no one. Lorenz was kept in the dark about it, as far as I’m aware, and I believe Dedue simply told them Dimitri’s boundaries in advance so any childish antics would not go too far. I did the same for Her Majesty, so it would not surprise me if that rumor turned out to be true.
While I disapprove of the practice, I understand my opinion is not universal. Dimitri and Lady Edelgard, while exasperated, did seem almost relieved to not be above such things.
Aww, they'd be so cute! I hope Marianne's been practicing her smile, and Hilda better make her smile a lot. They're really wonderful people, even if Hilda is kinda lazy. I think they'll bring out the best in each other, ya know? Now all Hilda has to do is the work to see if Marianne is interested. Which, I admit, is not her strong suit.
For the first, Hilda is the most suitable of the three. I doubt she’d see to it herself, and by way of her absence, I could assume I did my part and be on my way with minimal time wasted.
Regarding marriage, Dorothea has expressed an interest in doing so in order to get to know me better for reasons I still do not fully understand. Still, she would be pleased with going through the ceremony itself. I trust her not to be manipulative or deceitful with the arrangement.
And that only leaves a task I had to attend to to begin with. The knights of Faerghus are renowned for their fealty above all else. They stand between Her Majesty and victory, therefore, Ingrid was fated to perish the moment the war began. This is hardly new.

Ridiculous. Hilda may as well spare herself the trouble, since she will be worse than useless in a rescue mission. I simply do not have time to hold her hand throughout the process. If any of Claude’s retinue were to insist on contributing to the effort, it had better be someone who would do so reliably.
Lord Vestra was to protect the Royal Family, but also to deal justice. Ionious allowed for the experimentation of subsequent deaths of Hyrm and Ordelia children. The retribution is equal number of his own taken. An eye for an eye, so to speak. Forgiveness is far from expected and actively discouraged, but without information, all is lost. The past is rotten and filled with ash, to avoid the past the flaws must be know. Just know a foundation cannot be built while still living in the house.
And who was placed in charge of House Hrym and the resulting incursions on House Ordelia at the time of these horrific events? House Aegir, of course, who used the spread of the throne's influence to persuade six other houses to join the Insurrection—including my own.
And what of the Noble Houses of Leicester, who allowed the Empire to seize temporary power over House Ordelia? Shall we line up their children and murder them as belated retribution? I encourage you to inform Lysithea that you believe the deaths of Lorenz, Claude, Hilda, Holst, Marianne, Judith, and Balthus will alleviate the horrors her family was subject to.
To say Ionius IX was responsible for the crimes of Lord Aegir is comparable to saying Rhea was responsible for Jeralt's death or Flayn's kidnapping because she employed those truly to blame. Although she is an abhorrent creature with her own list of crimes, those do not count among them.
To be clear, I was not especially close to Ionius IX despite my service to his daughter. But he did not deserve to witness the death of ten of his children, just as those children did not deserve to die. His children didn't orchestrate the suffering of House Hrym and the Ordelia family, but you have the gall to call it fair that the Hresvelg children paid the price?
...But I do understand what it is you are trying to say. To live in hatred of a man long since dead is no different than clinging to pointless traditions. And frankly, any remembrance of him, even in spite, is far more than he warrants. I will try.
Oh, no, I don't think it has to do with heirs. I think Christophe is just shy, or is maybe worried that Holst isn't into guys... When he found out that someone told Holst, he locked himself in his room... I wish he would just confess! Hilda even approves of the two!
He locked himself in his room? Well, that seems like an overre... Wait, never mind. Sometimes, it’s called for.
Still, you can’t rush a love confession. And if he’s anything like Ashe, he’s got a big heart that’s easy to hurt if he’s not careful... I’m rooting for him, though. Holst is a good catch, and he’s even got Hilda’s approval.
...Which kinda means he has to be into guys, or Hilda would just tell Christophe that herself to let him down easy. She’s lazy, not cruel.
