Merlin as an assassin
Merlin: I poisoned someone's drink, but I forgot which one

My least favorite things about merlin;
The fact that all my favorite characters die
The fact Will never met Gwaine cause we were deprived of several fun scenes there. Several pranks.
The fact that Merlin's fun scenes with the round table got smaller as time went on (I love our boys okay?)
The fact that Merlin's friends never found out he had magic.
The fact that the knights never met Merlin's mother.
That Gili didn't show up again.
The fact that we never got a scene with Gwaine helping Merlin hide Aithusa because I have absolutely no doubt that Gwaine would have been all for it. It's Gwaine. Illegal is his middle name.
Just how little we got shown of Gwaine and Lance and the knights.

god i’ll never get over being 12 and watching merlin and feeling like i could relate to him about hiding his magic and feeling like a monster and being scared to be pointed out as different without knowing exactly why i related. the lgbt metaphor of the century
I realized Gwen stops seeming like she likes Merlin after he gets poisoned and keeps calling for Arthur. She definitely knows/thinks he's gay or in love with Arthur or both.
My Merlin Fantasy;
Look, I love merlin. Alot. But God was the show depressing. This will include spoilers so be warned. And this is just me because I know my ships aren't canon but still.
Will, Gwaine, Elyan, Freya, and Lancelot would be alive/brought back/never died.
Gili would come back (maybe Morgana too).
Percival and Gwaine would be a couple cause they're my OTP.
Gwen and Arthur are still a thing.
Freya and Merlin would get to be happy.
Friendship between the knights and Merlin would be shown more often.
Gwaine, Will, Percival, and Merlin (and Lancelot though he can never be caught) would pull alot of pranks.
Gwaine helping Merlin hide the dragon egg and the baby dragon.
Hilarious moments of those two hiding the dragon and the others getting dragged in one by one until Arthur finally catches on.
The knights meeting Hunith.
Hunith being everyone's mom cause you know she would.
Gaius giving everyone the eyebrow of death.
A random wacky episode or three were someone pretends to be a dead Knight's son but hold on, that's Gwaine's dad and since he's too stubborn to admit that he's noble he and Merlin (and Lancelot and Will and Percival who get dragged in eventually because you know they would) have to find a way to expose his lying ass self.
Nicknames for everyone.
More Gwen and Merlin friendship.
More Leon, Gwen, and Merlin being tired of everyone's shit.
Morgana and Arthur being peak sibling energy.
Gwaine's sister showing up and him and her fighting while trying not to reveal that they are related or just Gwaine straight up trying to stop his sister from revealing he's a noble.
Gwaine and Arthur being horrified someone would even consider dating their sisters.
Everyone making a collective face when they realize Morganna is Uther's bio daughter and the implications of that.
Arthur going "Merlin? Why is there a dragon chewing on my shoes?"
And just everyone living their best lives.
I know, I know. It didn't happen but it's my Merlin fantasty and it would have been awesome. Plus I can't get the image of Gwaine running after a dragon while Percival distracts Arthur out of my head. It's cute and hilarious, okay?
