gwen having this blacksmith expertise is such an underutilised trope in this fandom.

like, imagine all the fun possibilities! some knight or member of the council trying to explain something about armour to her and she being able to just fully shut them down. merlin needing some obscure weapon and coming to her for advice (kind of like with the sword later).

also i like that they're portraying her not only as kind but also skilled and competent from the very beginning
