Welcome Winter ❄️ This season is full of bitter sweet memories that seem to intensify in the stillness. I'm happy to announce the end of unannounced hiatus that i unexpectedly took. I hope everyone is keeping warm and still trying to become a better version of themselves everyday.

21.01.2023 - I've been finishing off the last of my essay reading before writing my plan tomorrow. I'm bored but plodding along now I have just over a month before submission. Abstract thinking about how to teach history is worse than actually planning a lesson...

Not happy with the fact it's -3°C... I'm freezing cold, so I'll be spending the evening shivering in bed with Twelfth Night.

Currently reading: A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K Le Guin; Twelfth Night by Shakespeare; The Red and the Black by Stendhal

Things on my mind recently ⭐

⭐So much journalism work - from organising interviews to editing to presenting BUT feels very rewarding!

⭐Part of this is now practicing news anchoring/TV news at uni at the expense of being on campus for 8 hours.

⭐Deep diving into very triggering topics for the justice side of my degree but s/o to my local moots and community for helping me keep above water with it (including giving me the beloved rooibos)

11/2/23 - the home stretch

this is my last semester of undergrad, and i have been busyyyyyyy which is why i haven't been posting as much. october was A Lot, but i made it through! also: hot chocolate and a stroopwafel. you wish you were me.
