Messy notes and heavily annotated textbooks will always look so much more pleasing to me than notes that are written in perfect handwriting and clearly organized. I love seeing pictures of somebody's messy notes or seeing a worn out textbook where you can tell whoever owned it was trying to squeeze as much information out of it as humanly possible.

I've tried focusing on making my notes look cute before but I find that it distracts me a lot from actually studying and makes me obsess too much over whether or not my notes look "aesthetically pleasing" enough. I'm okay with my notes looking sporadic since that's pretty much how my brain is most of the time, I'm a scatter-brained person by nature. Trying too hard to structure everything just feels restricting

I’ve had this empty notebook for years, and because I was afraid to mess it up with whatever I filled it with I never used it. So I’m gonna finally put it to use and work on my characters story here and accept all my mistakes and changes.
