No weights today still recovering only these steps I did today ,but finally I am done with the Igloo 200 000 step challenge with 13 days left I can still catch up to the top 1%. This week has turned out not so bad. My upper back is still sore from the pull-ups and rows I did on Wednesday. Legs are a bit sore from the one mile sprint and weight lifting on Tuesday, but not as bad as my upper back. I need to focus more on stretching today by next week I will probably be back to normal without all that stiffness. Arms are not sore yet maybe tomorrow the DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) may kick in will need more recovery there. My abs is hurting, because I did a bit abs work on the floor last night. I think I should do some light walking or cycle a bit today to flush all the lactic acid out of my body for faster recovery time. Light cardio (like walking), stretching and drinking a lot of water are good to get all of the byproducts out your body that comes with weight training obviously you need enough protein and healthy foods as well ,but if your neglecting the basics all the fancy supplements you take will just be expensive urine. That’s the reason athletes say they train the whole day. Some of the most time consuming aspects of training are the recovery process the harder you workout the longer you take to recover, but recovery is still part of the training process. If you just focusing on weight training alone something is going to give you need to focus on all components of fitness which includes: Strength, Cardiovascular Training and Flexibility exercises to keep your body in balance and help speed up the recovery process. Some people are fortune enough to have physical jobs they don’t need to do cardio at the gym or they are in walking distance from their work and this is where the strength component becomes more important to them. You don’t have to spend hours in the gym to do all of this. Find ways to save time e.g. if you train chest stretch your back in your resting time. #endomondo #cardio #mesurements #bodycomposition #lacticacid #workout #workoutlogs #weeklyworkout #workoutroutine #recovery #stretching (at Despatch, Eastern Cape, South Africa) https://www.instagram.com/p/BsyMeC0FvX7/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1v1854sk15r7u
