I've finally decided that I want to read some Johnlock meta but I'm not sure where to start, because I know most of it was written before Season 4 aired. Stuff I would be interested in though are character and plot analyses, as well as maybe post-Season 4 retrospectives. I do not want meta that focuses too much on symbolism like random flukes in a room's coloring, or the "tea is gay stuff," as it seems too coincidental and abstract for my taste.

Anyway: thank you! You do good work in this fandom and I still fervently believe that Johnlock was queerbaiting.

AHH You're in luck! I actually have an archived "S4 Meta Masterpost" Permalink (which is linked at the top of my blog on the Browser version of Tumblr) that is part of pages I created just before S4, so it is hard linked to my blog itself (though there are also rebloggable versions of each page) and I updated a little bit after S4 With My Post S4 Meta and Thoughts back in 2018.
