Beach Vacation <3 Murdock made some special popsicles to help them cool down in the heat <3 (I started this art 2 weeks ago when this annyoing heatwave started and ended up redoing the coloring several times because I couldn't get it the way I wanted it to be. The struggles...It's still not like I imagined it but I at least love how it looks now. Also that's the first time I drew Ludlow...I mean Mighty G!)

Y'know I love entertaining the idea of Liko eventually donning a superhero identity. She has decided her core reason for wanting to become strong is to protect the people and Pokemon she loves and cares about, which is perfect for a hero archetype. I've thought about it ever since the episode with Palafin and Ludlow revealing his secret identity as Mighty G, though he admits he's getting old for that. He's close with that Palafin as a superhero, and Palafin usually doesn't let people see its transformation, but Liko with her compassionate heart won over Palafin's trust, and Palafin let Liko see it transform with her own eyes: so far, she is the only person who has had that privilege. So I imagine Liko could form a close relationship with that Palafin someday.

But aside from her character and that event I feel like Floragato (and the inevitable Meowscarada) is really showing a superhero esque battle style. The way it swings around with its yo-yo vine is so Spider-Man like, and it has amazing agility with Acrobatics, fires amazingly strong Magical Leafs (and was naturally really strong to begin with) and in general just has that superhero essence. Meowscarada is gonna take that to another level, with it wearing a mask, which is a Superhero 101 thing. Flower Trick as a potential new move is gonna add to that special superpower recipe, and combined with Liko's devotion to protecting people and Pokemon, that just screams "hero". Like I feel if anyone is taking after Ludlow's superhero life and Friede's cool, badass leadership it's her. She may have started out shy and hesitant but now that she's come into her own she's got a hero essence, and she would absolutely rock a superhero identity, especially with her Floragato (soon to be Meowscarada). We'll probably not see that happen on the show but it would be cool to see her lean into that essence after this chapter is all said and done.

ep. 105 thoughts

the "G?" at the beggining was genuinly the FUNNIEST sound Amethio has ever made and it makes me grin and giggle when i hear it 😂

Ludlow Mighty G really just said "DoRa ThE ExPlOrEr TiMe" (lmao)

okay okay jokes aside Mighty G and Amethio interaction was so sweet. They're almost feel like actual grandpa and grandson spending time together (Gibeon you better take fricking notes!)

now the second half. To me it was still enjoyable but not as funny as the first one.

My god, bisexuals must have seen this scene as an absolute win. I would know bc im (sorta) bisexual (or rather biromantic).

this ep was also the ep where Dot caught Gimmighoul. And unlike the Charcadet one, this one didn't felt rushed at all! It was genuinly funny and sweet in fact! (Not like the previous one wasn't its just that Liko and Charcadet didn't had this much moments before liko ultimately caught charcadet). And even despite gimmighoul's mischevious nature, you can feel that they and dot actually formed a bond or at least they began forming one, that I can hope in the future will be even stronger!

and finally, a little idea that came to me when I finished watching: What if, in the future, in addition to being a streamer, Dot became a professional surfer? Like imagine her future Gholdengo and her surfing together in some surfing competition and them winning bronze, silver or even maybe golden medals or cups! It's unlikely but also sound rlly fun (might even draw it if I decide to not be lazy)
