Gender dysphoria is kicking my ass today 😭
i think i worked myself beyond my breaking point for the ghazt birthday art because i can't seem to draw anything nor have the energy to write anything
I love you bobby mercer ☹️☹️☹️ I wish you knew how much I do
Being autistic is hard. People always know something is 'wrong' with you. No matter how much you try to act like everyone else, how much time you spend coping in environments you can't handle because you don't want to be a bother to anyone else, no one will ever see you as a 'normal person.' People notice behavioural differences but instead of accepting you as you are, they start to hate you because you come off as 'annoying' or 'desperate' and even 'rude' if you slip up one too many times. If people do claim to accept your differences, even then, most of the time, they'll just treat you like an infant. All this effort we put in to be like everyone else and then we end up alone anyway.
I genuinely feel bad that the person who hosted the DTIYS chose to rate your artwork, especially with such a low score. Considering the time and effort you put into the piece, assigning a numerical rating feels unnecessary and discouraging. Your work deserved appreciation, not a judgment like that.
You're gonna make me cry, thank you so much.
I've also been kinda beating myself up for that today, and I've just kinda been trying to find out where I went so wrong with that. Thank you so much ❤️
Appreciation post for Toby
I miss u buddy
It’ll be ok
i saw that you aren’t doing the best rn… are you okay???
Tysm for your concern, you are so sweet
Honestly, ive been better, but im not at risk or anything and I have the resources to reach out for help. My chronic pain flares up sometimes, and with that comes all the emotional pain aswell as physical. Also lifes just been a little stressful atm, which definitely doesn't help. When I get like this, I find it better to just chill and take it easy then focus on all the things i could/should be doing to feel better, because my body needs rest.
This too shall pass, and life carrys on all the while.
Kinda sad to think about, but I wonder if I’d have been more likely to get into engineering type stuff if sexism wasn’t a thing…
Like no one’s ever stopped me from doing things like that, but I’d still say to myself in my head that I would be out of place for doing it for whatever reason :[
It’s weird tho, cause in most other areas of life I don’t usually give a damn about gender expectations and all that, but in the subject of technology I still ended up feeling like It’s not something I should pursue.
Been trying to remove that kind of thinking from my head, but it’s hard sometimes. It gets a bit lonely feeling like an exception to things rather than being welcomed.

As a sort of extension to what I’m talking about, I’ve noticed that people like to say things that are progressive in one way or another, but then will still silently operate on principles that reflect the opposite (because of societal influence).
This isn’t something I’m exempt from, and no one truly is because of how social we are as a species, but I do wish more people were able to let themselves do without it and stop limiting themselves and others more often.
In that regard I still often feel lonely existing as a girl that doesn’t buy into the things we’re so often silently and not so silently pushed into doing. There are a lot of things that I feel some kind of pressure to participate in despite my disinterest. Mostly because I feel like I become more of an outsider within my gender for not doing them.
(Btw, I’m not exactly the most cis girl, but what I’m talking about here notably calls upon that kind of experience 👍)
