IvanLuka is thriving in toxic yaoi as they play this fucked up dance of bargaining information and making out.

Ivan and Mizi are best friends in a contract marriage and pretty much have weekly sleepovers where they make crafts and rant about their crushes/relationships.

Till wasn't even assigned a gender at birth and is nonbinary.

Dewey bombs the clock tower at the capitol because he misread the mission before eating the paper.

The entire cast is queer; ¾ of the cast is trans (or maybe all the cast idk); ¼ of the cast is intersex (Sua, Luka, & Acorn [yes, Acorn is important]).

The fucking plot relies on discussion of aphobia and aroace erasure due to the empire's religion. (The entire main cast is under the aro-spec, ace-spec, or aroace-spec umbrella.)

Hyun Woo is alive and frequently swaps out jobs with his sister because they're near identical with enough make-up. Yes, they're spies.

Hyun-A is a revolutionary leader.

Angsty fanfic idea. (Tw for Calypso and SA flashbacks)

Imagine: Odysseus has nightmares about the deaths and the fights, but one he can't shake is Calypso. It feels like she's still walking and creeping up beside him when he stands still in the sunlight by the sea. Sometimes, he'll seem lost in his thoughts. Penelope will ask him what's wrong. He'll say that he's confused again. He'll break down. He begs Penelope to believe him, that he didn't want it, that it's all a blur, that he refused multiple times. But, he doesn't really hear his wife reassuring him that it's not his fault. He just keeps seeing those hands all over him. He keeps seeing his body react. He keeps hearing her whispering that he's really enjoying this, isn't he? He curls into himself. Penelope can't touch him in these moments. It sets him off more. All she can do is talk until he can hear her voice again. All she can do is wait for him to come out of the nightmare that invades his day.

"My wife!" Yells Odysseus, "Where is my beautiful wife?"

"I'm right here," she replies sadly.

"Is that really you, Penny?" He touches her face and smooths over her skin with his hands, "Or are you a goddess disguising yourself to bed me and sending me hallucinations so I can sleep?"

She feels her heart break a bit more.

So, in my ALNST apocalypse au, Hyun-Woo and Luka were close as kids but got a divide because Hyun-Woo feels like Luka steals his sister away from him with their partnership/relationship, and-

I can't believe I fucking predicted canon Hyun-Woo's jealousy based off my my theory on how the intimacy makes him feel.

BUT ALSO I CAN

It's been obvious from the beginning that Hyun-Woo thinks Luka is too close to his sister at times. If you've read the translated comics, you know that Hyuna was constantly defending Luka from Hyun-Woo's jabs and breaking up their fights. Luka killing Hyun-Woo out of jealousy was never a chance. If anything, the opposite could have occurred at any time.

I'm going to be smug about this forever.
