WIP Wednesday... Sorta

My WIP this Wednesday is getting my booth at the MD Ren Faire all set up and ready for business for opening weekend. Being a booth owner is a labor of love, blood, sweat, tears, and exhaustion. (Writing is easier, trust me.) Hopefully once Faire gets underway, I can get back into a groove and working on Vakantie and the next few actual WIPs I have planned out!

I wish I felt better and more like writing or even editing right now. I feel like I'm letting people down even though I know that the blog is a hobby and literally no one is relying on me to do anything.

I put so much pressure on myself to write stuff and put it out so quickly that I burnt myself out and now I'm sick because of just general health issues I suffer from chronically and new medicine and I just physically and mentally can not get myself into a writing or creative mood.

It's really sad because writing and photo/gif editing are my happy space. I just want to enjoy things again and feel like I can do things easily.

I feel a twitching in my hands,

Want to hold a pen and a paper,

And tell it,

How I miss it,

Tell it,

How lost in the moment I'm.

Every night and day,

I whisper to myself,

That this will be the day,

But i always end up,

Locking my thoughts in my head.

Wondering when they will fly away,

From my tall walls,

That has stood there for so long.

And I will be waiting here,

For them to arrive,

And confabulate,

With the ink and the paper,

That had longed for their presence,

And their songs.

Been so busy with work things so been unable to write. 😭

Adam and Lucifer are just waiting for me to come back and write the next story for them.

I've been so MIA from so much social media this last almost year. Its been a whirldwind of a rollercoaster. Life took me down a rough path and while I wanted to write and be in the Duskwood community, I just couldn't. I couldn't bring myself to write or do much so I took this for me. I stepped away from my love of writing and took care of what I needed to.

While there is still work to be done, I miss it. I have no idea if the Duskwood fandom is even still alive but I plan on finishing up what I have started while waiting for the bew game still.
