Headcanon A: What I think realistically

Mistoffelees probably isn’t a devil or something along those lines. He’s just a little freaky looking from the magic running through him and his ultraterrestial connections. He has more or less control of his magic and enjoys the quiet and peace his appearance gives him.

Headcanon B: What I think is fucking hilarous

Tugger cannot see what everyone thinks is so scary about Misto. He’s an angel and super cute and sparkles! And his head turns 360 sometimes and his purr sounds like cry from children but that’s just his charm. He loves him dearly even if he sometimes speaks backwards latin to the wall

Headcanon C: What is heart crushing and awful but fun to inflict on friends

Mistoffelees knows that the tribe fears him and would be far more calm without him. He even knows that probably Tugger would rather have a mate that doesn’t terrify his fan-club and brother. He’s incredibly lonely. And when he brings Quaxo and everyone starts replacing him with him, he feels crushing. He knew he was freaky, but seeing everyone so eager to replace him and pretend he never existed and was just a bad dream that everyone had to forget was too hard on him.

Headcanon D: What would never work in canon but the canon is shit so I believe it anyway

And also that he is far more powerful that anyone gives him credit for. He could destroy the jellicles. But he doesn’t. Because Tugger would never survive seeing his family die a horrible death. And he tought they loved him too. But it isn’t the case.

The Jellicles would gladly chase him away if they weren’t so scared of them

Also on the other side of the spectrum, he and Jemima have tea parties not only with demons and ghouls, but also with fairies and gnomes. They are very very nice to them and they are very good friends. Sometimes even Tugger joins them, even if he can’t see them

Sometimes, Mistoffelees is afraid of his magic, he is yet to discover the limits of what he can do with it, and as exciting as it is, it is equally terrifying. He can’t help but wonder sometimes if Tugger would feel the same way as well. Because of this, Tugger has developed a habit of kissing Misto’s fingers, to let him know that he loves everything about him and that he wouldn’t have it any other way.

I dont know if you're a dancer or not but As a dancer the best advice I can give you is really engage your core muscles and your shoulders the momentum comes later start with your leg low and work up, as in just off the floor and as you get more confident go from there, make sure you turn out also NEVER get discouraged. You'll have bad turn days, I still do, i remember having an awful day whilst dancing as Mistoffelees so never give up

I am decidedly not a dancer, I really appreciate the tips and encouragement! :) I took it up in the last few months mostly for fun, exercise, and increased flexibility and strength, and once the whole pandemic situation is over, I want to get back into doing musical theatre like I used to. I’ve always been a singer who acts, so in shows I’ve only ever needed to learn extremely basic/minimal combos (or none at all), so I thought I’d take the abundance of free time to build up my dancing skills! Been taking random jazz and ballet classes in my living room (including a jazz one taught by Robbie Fairchild which was terrifying but a highlight). I’m definitely keeping pretty low to the ground right now with my turns, but even just an hour of practice today really helped improve my balance and center, even if the momentum’s not there yet

Also that is so cool that you’ve danced Misto! For me it was a joke more than anything, I’ll definitely never be quite that skilled but it would be great to be able to be in the show sometime in the ensemble or in a less demanding dance role! Right now as a singer my options are basically just Griz and that’s no fun lol

I recent got fixated on CATS again I use to like as a kid but the  anniversary of the 2019 movie got me back into it ^^, Im a bit lost so if anyone would like to point me to some good blogs that would be really appreciated!!
