I think it’s really cute! Love me some good friends to lovers. I love Riku in chain of memories, so I quite enjoy the soriku in that game. But they‘re probably my favorite ship in 2 and 3, hence the gayblade from 3 and EVERYTHING in 2. Very cute. However, I played most of the games when I didn’t really ship stuff, so I think I’d have to go back through the series to really enjoy it. I’m not done with DDD yet tho, and I hear that game is very Soriku. Things to look forward to!

Very cute, especially on Kairi’s part. The “this time, I’ll save you“ in Kingdom Hearts was just immaculate. Super sweet. And I dig a good “waiting/pining for you dynamic.” I feel like the ship could be improved a lot though, if Kairi actually… did stuff. Like, we know how much they love each other, but we don’t really see them hanging out (other than the beginning of 1). Probably my favorite ship in the first game.

But I’d have to say my favorite uses of Soriku and Sokai combined is Sorikai! (That’s my OT3 for sure.) I imagine it’s mostly Kairi/Sora and Riku/Sora, whereas Riku and Kairi are just friends, but they’re like “we’re pals and we’re dating the same guy, so why not be one big couple!” It’s the ultimate friends to lovers...

1)I still very much love Subscorp and MK. I've been a fan for a number of years and dont see myself fading out of it anytime soon.

2/3) you can send asks about them but I'm not sure when I'll get to them, I'm very busy these days with a new job that I'm getting higher up in and wanting to spend time with my boyfriend before he leaves for his military service in June.

Hello Electronic, this.. is a bit of a complicated question

My relationship with Kung Lao (not the current Kung Lao, but the original one) is something that I had a feeling would eventually be questioned. However my name has always been Shang Lao, or Lao Shang, just has my brother’s name is Shang Tsung, or Tsung Shang.

But I digress, I am stalling.. Now to get to the point:

The short, blunt answer is that we were “married”.

The longer answer is that the two of us shared decades of time together slowly becoming friends and then realized that we shared feelings for each other. We decided that while our lives would never allowed for a traditional union to one another, we wanted to do something small and have our union be discreet. So only very few people knew of it at the time, as Kung had his duties and I had my own as well.

As for your other question, I have not seen my brother for many years, and I doubt that when I do it’s going to go well, but I will admit that impression of him is quite humorous :)

Axel for the four different headcanons thing

Realistic- He plans quite carefully for things, but usually disregards those plans and acts on a whim when things become hectic.

Not super realistic, but fun- He loves salty foods to a fault. He dumps three salt packets on his already salty fries and asks for more salt. He drinks vinegar and pickle juice. He pours the leftover salt from pretzel bags into his mouth.

Soul-crushing and fun to inflict on friends- His death in Kingdom Hearts II wasn’t a sacrifice, but a suicide. (I mean, if you think about it Sora totally could have killed those Dusks himself.) He acknowledged that Roxas was gone, and that bringing him back by killing Sora would be too unethical. He also acknowledged that he had cut ties with the organization as well, so he had no friends or power left there. Everything he had fought for was hopelessly lost, so he just blew himself up because he was tired of facing the consequences and didn’t want to live alone. He may as well die looking like a hero, anyway.

Completely against canon- He was a scene emo kid. Stripes, checkers, neon, too much eye makeup- the works. He verbally said “ecks dee” in response to things. (Can’t you just imagine him blasting crunk and annoying the heck out of Isa?)
