Analysis of MariBug's Season 6 Design🐞 + Lucky Charms in "Werepapas"
I Talked about Adrien's Design (briefly) as my First Post on this App a few Months ago, so now that we have more info on how Marinette's doing this season I think it's time to Analyze her new Design! (focus on the outfit)
Marinette:
This season, both Marinette's civilian outfit and her hero Ladybug suit have a lot more black in general.
Something various people noticed is that her civilian outfit resembles Lila's outfit: that black bow on her shirt and the shorts combo with the tighs + a jacket (which she obv already had, but Lila also wears one so I'm mentioning it). The fact she's dressed similar to Lila is likely hinting at all the Lies and Secrets she's keeping this season!
[Btw in 'Yaksi Gozen' we saw Cerise and she isn't wearing tighs anymore, could it be symbolism of the fact she knows the Truth and she's gonna try spill it? Also addition after 'Heartfixer', both Lila and Mari have a million diaries where they write everything down]
Her civilian outfit also gives Goth vibes, resembling Shadynette: the black is replacing the polka dots that used to be on her jacket's notch, the flowers are moved on the dark jacket when they used to be on her white shirt and placed on her chest, plus they are now half covered by the dark notch and they look kinda like a mix of her old pattern (more rounded, pink, cutesy) and the ones Reverse Mari has on her back! (thorny, serious and sharper)

Ladybug & Viperbug:
Viperbug (from 'Mister Agreste') looks SO much like evil Shadybug it was crazy obvious, I feel like I don't even need to explain it: the black lipstick, the dark legs (like the inverted Antibug colors), dark color shoulders, red/magenta streaks of hair, menacing eyes and the design of the shoes (which we didn't get to see in the ep, but we have the pics of the model), the placement of the various patterns and details... it's litterally evil Shadybug but purple.
For Ladybug, other than the addition of the red tips in her pigtails, her normal s6 suit (which I really like tbh) has large Black parts now. It looks like a mix of her Guardian suit, Shady's "evil look" and her "redeemed look" she got at the end of the Paris Special, probably hinting at the fact it's not too late for her to do better, she can still make up for her mistakes!👀
Also there's an inbalance, because ChatNoir's suit has always been all black (destruction & bad luck) while hers was almost all red (creation & luck), contrasting against eachother like Yin-Yang in equal amounts (more or less), now instead she's starting to become more and more Dark colored, making it so there's a lot more Black than Red in their pairing (visually)🔴⚫️
Edit (after "The Chained Titans"): 👀
[Idk about the pixie-cut one, but ok]

If this is what they were going for, this means they're highlighting how the choice to Lie has affected her negatively and how how she's not being truly rightful rn.
This also means that maybe Adrien is not the only one who's gonna get a new outfit design once he completes the arc about discovering himself, but she will have a new look too, once this whole Monarch Lie situation is over!❤️
Even if Paris is all eco-friendly and apparently peaceful (from what they know), it's not Maribug's doing but Major Bustier's (it's in her political program), so it would've happened even if she chose to tell the Truth from the start (I mean"Utopian Paris" isn't because or Mari's choices, nor the Wish).
By lying she's keeping the world in some sort of Stalling Phase where it feels stuck; especially Adrien's world, he doesn't know what to do, he's trying to live with a huge contradiction he's aware of and he's developing more concerning depression symptoms.
Marinette is the real Antagonist of Season 6 (Lila is the Villain, obviously, but Mari has currently a somewhat Antagonistic role to "Adrien's story") and that might be why they keep pointing out that most of Crysalis's akumas aren't hurting anybody, while Marinette has been causing akumatizations by unintentionally hurting others! And also why it would make so much sense for her to be Akumatized this season/soon, as the climax/peak of this little Arc she's going through! [THIS ISN'T MARI SALT]
Alya said in 'Revelator':"Truth is essential for someone's personal growth" and like this she's unintentionally stopping Adrien from 'growing', so this Secret has to be revealed for the Story to continue (hence why s6 having episodes focusing mini-arcs that mostly end there and only little main-plot development makes sense story-wise and why I think the Secret won't stay hidden for long... other than the fact Every Single Villain is aware of the Truth).
Which outfit do you think she and Adrien will get once they overcome their issues?
THIS ISN'T SALT, I'M JUST ANALYZING THE DESIGN and STORY,, I DON'T WANNA HEAR IT EITHER; MARI IS A GREAT CHARACTER *DESPITE AND BECAUSE* OF HER FLAWS AND THIS NEW "Accidental Villain Arc" -Antagonist- IS COOL AND THE FACT HER WRONGDOINGS ARE REPRESENTED IN HER DESIGN IS A GOOD SIGN about the Story Direction! Can't wait to see how she redeems herself💝

THE "WEREPAPAS LUCKY CHARMS"
Okay, so, we know Ladybug's been ignoring what her Lucky Charms are trying to tell her more than she should lately.
Since no Amok came out of Adrien's rings, everyone panicked: Astruc talking about intention and time spent in the object since their creation or whatever, the Senti-Deniers got their "proof" (despite the show pointing at how Maribug was aware and extremely worried, long shots of her just breathing or a long closeup of the rings and every evidence we already got like Adrien litterally being controlled on-screen), the Senti-Fans going crazy wondering if there's some magical mechanics we don't know of yet or if the amok got moved elsewhere or if Adrien isn't a Senti anymore cuz of the Wish... or if the Rings are Fake...👀
I think to know if those Rings are real we need to understand all those Lucky Charms Ladybug summoned, because I think, in that episode, something happened that we didn't see yet. [Btw did anyone notice how, when the conversation about custody started, Adrien firmly stated he wanted to stay in Paris with Nathalie, but after he put the rings on the table he became more reluctant and he said he doesn't know what he wants?]
