On the Hannah Witton front, super confused about the books that "make her horny."

A lot has been said about fetishizing mlm couples, but also in context she said she included books with "heavy flirting" or "sexually suggestive interactions."

I've read Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe and Simon vs. the Homosapien Agenda. They don't act like the characters live in a world where teens don't have sex sometimes or even just think about sex, but they're super slow-burns and pretty chaste. Not that I doubt that there's nsfw fanfic out there. Simon and Bram's relationship takes place almost entirely through emails. Part of what makes Ari and Dante's relationship so endearing is that while Dante wears his heart on his sleave poor Ari's parents have to tell him he's in love with Dante because he has no clue about why he's doing what he's doing. Both books talk about sex, acknowledge that masturbation is a thing that teen boys sometimes do in a pretty matter of fact way, and there are kisses. But (and I say this having worked at a library throughout college) you're not gonna find them shelved in the erotica section.
