Why Do People Get So Mad at Atom in MLMU (TH)???

Specifically talking about ep 7 rn but I've seen reactors get so mad at him throughout the show and I don't really understand? He's a child going through his first relationship, ofc he's going to overthink. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure he just has general anxiety issues that make everything 10x worse. What makes Kongthap such a perfect partner for him is that he knows that and knows how to make Atom feel better.

But like, the reactors I'm watching now wanted MudMee to slap Atom bc he overthought about the basketball team finding them out. Yes, I understand that the audience watching the show are older and know better, but the point is that the kids are not older, and they do not know better. Like, I just feel bad for Atom when he has these moments bc I've spent my entire life with anxiety and its not as easy as "just stop overthinking," or "stop being dramatic."

Idk, maybe I'm just being extra sensitive rn cuz I'm sick, but it upsets me when watchers get so mad at a child who cannot help the way his over-active brain makes him feel.

I was so so so so excited about MLMU TH when it was first announced. I love the Japanese ver, I love GeminiFourth and because they have the same director with MSP, I have big expectation for this series. But when it was actually aired, it's just feel so bland......

I love all of GeminiFourth scene, their chemistry is always over the top, and I do love ChokunPahn too, every single time HalfMudmee scene appear, I was internally screaming. But the amazing cast doesn't comes with amazing execution. Like- Is this series cute? Yes. Is this series make you giggle? Yes. But does this series makes you wanna go back to watch it? Errrr probably no.

The series color feel so odd, even after they change the colorist, the color palette just too soft. THE ENDING CREDIT. Gosh I hate it so much that they decide to make the ending credit appear when the story still goes on. I don't understand why did they do that??? 😭😭

And I don't know, maybe it was because I already have big expectation with this series, but how the story told is truly not statisfying. It's kinda a shame considering GeminiFourth's past project like MSP and Moonlight Chicken feels like a masterpiece. I do really hope their next project will be better than MLMU, and please please please GMMTV, please give us another ChokunPahn series in the future too.

My Love Mix Up ended! My feelings didn't change all too much. Even before I felt like GMMTV did GemFourth and their fans dirty. Who had the idea to give them such a cheap attempt at a series? My new theory is that this was their way of satisfying the fans with a series that didn't use much budget - because look at the amount of sponsors. So they gave GemFourth something simple to play, a story people would watch (I haven't met many people that didn't like Kieta Hatsukoi) and that was easy to fund with 12 sponsors or however many there were.

If they did that to my ForceBook, I'd be LIVID. At this moment, I'm glad I'm a casual GemFourth fan. My disappointment with GMM is big, but I'll manage. I just feel really bad for their fans, because what in the world was this series? They threw Kongthap's character under the bus and destroyed any good moment by surrounding it with a bunch of product placements, that simply destroyed my viewing experience.

I wrote this before, but if this was some no-name couple and their first series, I'd be okay with how this went down. I'd still not be happy about it, but I'd be okay. They need to get financed. But GeminiFourth? They brought in 1M tweets with nearly zero effort an I'm shaking my head, because I've seen MANY better series this year that struggled to get to the 500K mark.

So in the end, the series was not something I hate. It was fluffy and cute, I loved some of the scenes and nobody talk bad about these actors, because all of them were spot on and tried their best. Fourth's acting was so good and he would have deserved a better series to pour his soul into like this. Atom talking to Kongthap's mom and him waiting anxiously for his university application result had me close to tears, DESPITE the bad rest of the episode.

I am glad I see tweets of people who genuinely enjoyed the series. It's just I'm not one of them and I'll probably not come back to this version of Kieta Hatsukoi. Maybe if someone uploads a commercial-and-product-placement-cleaned version one day. Should be short enough for a re-watch then lol I felt so bad that the last few weeks, I'd come home from work on my Friday, look at Youtube and be like "Oh right, the new episode is up. Guess I'll watch this one quickly." when for pretty much any other weekday series I'll start watching ON THE TRAIN because I'm looking forward to a new episode.

What this series teaches me, though, is that maybe some couples did take a break consciously this year. Because naturally there is a budget for a year of productions and GMMTV has to go for cheaper and more expensive productions to make the most of it. Some will have to sit out. I'm just not sure I like this cheap way out as a solution for cash cows like GemFourth just to keep fans happy. Is it "better than nothing"? Was this the smartest move? I'm not too sure. I just know my rating for this one is not good enough for what GF would have deserved.

thank you mlmu for giving me ppl who had a hard time understanding their ways of expression, for giving them a queer mentor to look upto or friends who they could reach out and lean on to. flaws and all, i got some genuinely wonderful things including the characters (and gay cinderella) and it mattered.

Guys, this finale was everything.

Seriously, there was not one thing I disliked about the whole episode other than the fact that it's the last one. It didn't feel too rushed and was a perfect ending, imo.

Fourth's acting though... literally unreal. He's so amazing istg. Fourth is my top GMM actor atm, I feel like he embodies characters and expresses their emotions so well. The coming out scenes were just suburb in every way, shape, and form.

Half and Mudmee are ofc adorable as always. I don't really have much to say about them, though. I enjoyed them and their story was a nice parter to KongAtom's. I was a tiny bit more impressed with Pahn's performance but Chokun did awesome as well. I'm looking forward to seeing them in future projects.

KongAtom are everything to me. They are so adorable and sweet and they complement one another so well! They also just love each other so much and are so endeared by one another that it was just such a joy to watch their story!

Gemini and Fourth have done it again! I'm always so, so impressed with their acting and the way they portray their characters and what they're going through so perfectly. They work so well together and have such great, natural chemistry and I really, really hope that they continue to pair together for a long time (as long as they want to ofc)! I'm still hoping for a more serious plot with them as the main couple, so let's manifest for 2025!!!

Anyways, I can't believe this show is over! It's the first one I've watched all the way through while it was airing since Bad Buddy, and I loved it so much!! My Fridays were always so brightened by MLMU and now idk what I'm gonna do in the mornings! 😂

Thanks to the cast and crew for such an amazing, beautiful, sweet, pure show!!! I can tell everyone had so much fun filming and I hope they were all pleased by the results cuz I know I was!!!
