you all, collectively, have adopted a cat now. what do you name them?

I think we tentatively agreed on first name Ghost, middle name Vision, last name DTBB. There was much yelling over this, so thanks for that, Shelby. - Mod Korey

The official character designs for the role reversal AU drawn by Mod Crys: the original lineart, as well as versions with dots added to indicate the colors. Eye and hair colors stay the same as anime canon.

Rose’s outfit is the same as anime canon, and Shadow’s color scheme is based off of it. Queen’s outfit stays mostly the same, but she has a visible sheath and her color scheme changes (emerald-green ribbon, navy accents on her dress, black leggings and sleeves).

Honestly? i was first in love with the concept of duke. The first canon thing i consumed with him is robin war and i saw him sparring with Dick and was like ah yes this ones a keeper - mod angel

i first heard of duke through fan content, when i was just getting into dc back in february, and at first i was just :0 i have to know who that is!!! and i started with we are robin and only got more invested from there - Mod Clark

Hello! I just wanted to quickly and politely let you know that I have SO much interest in participating in a comics based Big Bang event. I'm glad one is being organized! Unfortunately, the restrictions of this event make it unwelcoming and exclusionary. I also have no interest in the darker themes you have chosen to prohibit, but pretending that doing so is for the good of your participants is disingenuous and unkind. Please run your event as you like, but I urge you to reconsider your language

Hi Anon! Thank you for your polite language. We have chosen to address this because everyone must understand our reasoning. We as a team, do not feel comfortable interacting in some cases, or policing these works. We have mods in this team that are minors, we have mods with triggers. We have boundaries ourselves and so we must also take into account our mental health and safety AS WELL AS the safety and comfortability of everyone that will participate in our event. These scenes are allowed in your fics but must be posted separately and not associated with this bang. Please just let us know beforehand if you would like to include those scenes separately.

For example, my (Millie) triggers include a description of panic/anxiety attacks, torture, and rape. I (Millie) must set my boundaries based upon my mental health. Everyone within this event must. And so, because we all have different triggers, and splitting us up everywhere within this event can be problematic, we have decided to not include those darker themes in our fics (panic/anxiety attacks descriptions are still allowed, as I just need a warning).

We have mods who are minors, we don’t want them to read past their comfort zone and have to police those kinds of conversations, and it also does not make sense to split the mod team up. Thus, we have rules against having porn or sex in these fics.

As an avid fanfiction and comic reader, our rules may seem extreme, but in reality, we have only banned porn, suicide, graphic torture, the glorification of toxic relationships, and assault.

These were not rushed one-conversation decisions, we have all thought over this and decided what was best for our participants and ourselves. We hope we do not send a ”pretending to care” message, because we all genuinely care. And just to repeat, these scenes are allowed in your fics but must be posted separately and not associated with this bang. Please just let us know beforehand if you would like to include those scenes separately.
