I love your female Spider AU but I don't fully understand what's going on and I can't find another post about it. Why Quaritch doesn aappear in his daughter's life after 14 years, where had he been all this time and if she hasn't seen him in so long, why does she know Lyle and call him uncle? And where do they want to take her? Isn't she an adult since she's in college and can make her own decisions? I can't wait to hear more about this!

I didn't fully flesh out this idea, but the basic idea is this:

Spider, adopted as a kid (six-nineish) moves to a new city for college, feeling disconnected from her family and wanting to find a place where she can fit in.

Her father, Quaritch, was arrested for (idk what) when she was young, along with some of his friends (Lyle and the gang, idk). When he was released, Spider was sixteen or seventeen and he had a no-contact order until she was eighteen. He still tried to get in touch (through Lyle) but she panicked and denied him at every turn (also a reason for leaving her hometown, because she knew he was living there too).

She's genuinely scared of her father and "uncle Lyle" because of all the crazy shit they did to wind up in jail and doesn't want anything to do with them.

Lyle follows her and basically is like "come with me or it's gonna get messy". The diner scene I wrote was really random, but here's where that fits in.

If I were to continue, Lyle would take her to Quaritch, they basically kidnap her, eventually Neteyam and Lo'ak find them and Neteyam gets shot (maybe, for angsty purposes, Spider tries to shoot Quaritch, Lyle pushes her, and she shoots him on accident).

After, she goes after Quaritch and shoves him, he hits his head and dies. They get Neteyam to a hospital, maybe he lives, maybe he dies idk. Neytiri blames Spider for it, Jake blames Lo'ak because they were supposed to wait for backup (Jake was trying a different lead, the boys went without him).

• he’s on the football team because jake loves football and it totally rubbed off on him

• he looks for you in the crowd during his games, smiles when he sees his number on your cheek

• he’s really busy with school, he’d definitely take an unhealthy balance between AP and regular classes and always has homework.

• he just wants to impress his parents

• so sometimes during your more casual dates he’ll be doing homework

• you’ll be cuddled up together on the couch watching a movie, laying against his chest and he’ll have a hand over your stomach. the other is finishing writing a paper on the side table

• “teyam! you’re not paying attention!” you’d complain after noticing. “im sorry princess, i’m almost done” he’d say, kissing the top of your head

• he got his license but only because he was kinda forced. Neytiri hates driving and Jakes road rage scares Tuk, so it kinda fell on him. he’s not particularly against it though, and it is useful. plus, since it wasn’t really his idea, neytiri and jake bought him his first car.

• the passenger seat is ofc reserved just for you

• kiri crocheted him a cover for his steering wheel and he loves it. it’s the perfect shade of brown

• he pierced his ears to match with his mom

• him and neytiri go on mother/son dates all the time. hes a total mamas boy, and he loves to catch her up on things.

• he also likes to hang out in the kitchen with her when she cooks, and he’s picked up on some things so he knows a little bit on how to cook.

• absolutely loves frank ocean.

• he really loves r&b and music in general. he always has something quietly playing in his room, and he actually became really fond of morning drives when he’s by himself listening to his playlist

• he’s not super huge on PDA at school, but he does love everyone knowing who his significant other is.

• he’ll hold your hand or have an arm around your waist when you walk through the halls together, and he always walks you to your classes. even if yours are across the school from his

• he also drives you to school every morning, and home whenever he doesn’t have practice.

• texts you good morning as soon as he wakes up, which is always bright n early. like 6 am

• you think it’s super cute that that’s how he starts his day
