HOW VENOMSHANK GOT SYSPHYUS

Tw: suicide but not really. He's not trying to do it on purpose he just doesn't understand that bleach isn't food.

Venomshank was a STUPID child, kept trying to do the over 2000 years ago equivalent of sticking forks into electrical sockets and eating batteries.

Illumina found a crow that couldn't fly and gave it to Venomshank as a thing for him to do that isnt trying to kill himself.

When Venom (mentally around 13) learned he would outlive the bird he started crying and gave it a bit of his power so it wouldn't. But he was also 13.

So Illumina walked in to see Venom missing his wings but the bird now being able to fly and its eyes green, and Venom looking SO proud of himself.

So that's how Venomshank accidentally made a crow sapient and immortal.

All of the Swords have a lot of wealth to their names, they don't really do much with it though. Venomshank, Windforce and Firebrand just kinda let their kids (and grandkids in Firebrand's case) use however they please since they aren't using the money. Sword, Ban Hammer, Dom and Valk all have very different spending habits

Sword doesn't spends much at all unless he needs to, very few people who know him even realize he's rich because he doesn't buy expensive things often if at all, though he is known to buy expensive gifts for his friends' spawndays

Ban has an ever growing collection of different types of weapons. Everything from pocket knifes to rifles. Ban's also an avid collector of bones, he has a few skeletons of different types of dangerous animals in his office. Ban also has a small guitar collection, most of them are gifts from Valk but he does buy a guitar or two that he likes once in a while

Dom occasionally indulges in expensive things but for the most part he doesn't really spend much. Dom does have a collection of vinyl records that he expands every now and again, he has a little record cabinet in his room and a record player gifted to him by Valk

Valk likes to buy gifts for friends and family and various knickknacks that he finds interesting but for the most part he is responsible with money

surprisingly accurate, at least according to sword. on a fictional note i can definitely see this as well, lovely. banhammer being a collector is so real too actually i'm taking that.

So basically, all the SFOTH (except Venomshank and Ghostwalker) weren’t spawned with wings they had to grow them a few months after spawning. Firebrand, Illumina, and Darkheart all had it the worse.

How growing wings affected Firebrand, Illumina, and Darkheart: So for the first like month after being spawned they were fine, could sleep on their backs comfortably and only having some stiffness in the shoulders. Second month was also fine, sleeping on their backs is a little more uncomfortable but not by much, shoulders are more stiff.

Skipping to month five, you know how you can sometimes clearly see a skinny person’s shoulder blade when they move their shoulder back? Well that is kind of what it looks like with their wings. The bones are formed and muscles are close to fully complete and sometimes they twitch the smallest bit in their back. It feels really weird for them, like an extra set of arms just below the skin.

Near the end of the fifth month (or start of the sixth month) the wings are ready and it’s time for The Agony! It’s obviously a very painful and bloody process. The wings start involuntarily thrashing until the skin starts to give and the wings burst out of the back. A large part of the skin on the back is ripped off due to the wings being slightly smaller than the torso. (I imagine that the wings are mostly folded up in the back but the tips wrap around the ribs slightly) This can take up to a day and a half or 2 days. The same happens to Demi-deity’s too

Windforce and Icedagger: over the course of about 6-ish months Windforce started getting more and more static shocks that increased in strength until she basically got electrocuted for like an hour- And Icedagger kinda had something something similar to Firebrand just less extreme, more like knife slices down his back from the wings.

Petition to make Venomshank nostalgic for paris green.

‘sure there’s alternative colors nowadays, but they just don’t feel the same, you know?’ <- mf who wants that toxic ass paint in him home but can’t bc Sword would literally die.

( for those who don't know, paris green is extremely toxic due to the presence of arsenic. )

hi I got dragged back to the fandom after being gone for a few months. throws some headcanons about the BlackRock and Playground beef. tw for some talk of violent crimes

so, BlackRock does a lot of experiments and tests for their weapons, technology, and medical treatments on Inphernals, right? ever wondered where they got those Inphernals from?

a decent chunk of the Inphernals used in testing are convicted (often life sentenced) criminals from mainly BlackRock and Crossroads. the worst of the worst, Inphernals with charges for violent offences against newspawn, sexual offenses, brutal or violent murders, etc. but that's just who BlackRock actually advertises that they experiment on!

BlackRock also experiments on traitors to BlackRock that actually get hunted down, and has a history of just. kidnapping random Playfuls (fuck you that's what people from Playground are called now) and using them in experiments. there was previous wars between the two factions that built this hatred between their people to begin with, but this just made it worse

Coil was actually one of the Playfuls kidnapped and used in experimentation! he was pretty young when it happened so his brain blocked out the worst of it, but it's why he has those tubes in his arms and how he managed to get his hands on the crystal shoved in his horn. when he escaped, he wrecked and stole several thousands if not millions of dollars worth of BlackRock tech, which is the main reason (besides Subspace's pettiness) he's a wanted criminal now

if you're wondering why Playground hasn't noticed that their people are just kinda... disappearing, the answer is: they completely have! just a lot of Inphernals are reluctant to file their friend or family member as missing, and when they do actually file an Inphernal as missing, it's common for the case to be mishandled for one reason or another. in Coil's case, having been homeless, he didn't have any family to report him missing and the adults around him just assumed that he'd wandered off somewhere on his own

ah dang. nobody deserves to be experimented on. glad he managed to get out, at least. and how the adults who knew coil didn't connect it to the other cases of disappearance is a little baffling to me, yeouch.
