Photographs using my gold reflector, again, to create and emphasise more that ‘golden hour” effect. I discovered that using a gold reflector made my subject look more red in colour than he needed to be at that time of day. Next time, I think I am going to experiment with a silver reflector if I were to shoot at this time of day again. *Time of day - 5:30pm*

MODULATING DEVICE IN USE - GOLD REFLECTOR - Contact sheet 2

I experimented with a gold reflector used by holding it against the sunlight so that the golden light from the sun would bounce back onto my models face creating that “golden hour” effect. After taking these images, I realised that I would need to do some colour correcting in Lightroom as my subject looks very ‘orange’ and could use some cooling down.

MODULATING DEVICE IN USE - SILVER REFLECTOR - Contact Sheet 1 Here, I experimented with the use of a silver reflector. My model was sitting side on to a window and so I decided to bounce the light back off of the other side of her face with to create a glowy look. Some images resulted in being darker than others but It was great to get a feel of the reflector and how it works as I have never used one before.

No es ningún secreto que Armin van Buuren muestra aprecio por el Hardstyle de vez en cuando, así fue como el año pasado vimos al holandés cerrado sus sets de Tomorrowland y ASOT con el remix de Frontliner a su track “Shivers”. Posterior a eso lo vimos tocar “Mellow” de TNT y Showtek.

En fin, la cosa no queda tan sencilla, pues mientras Armin tocaba su set de 7 horas en Ushuaïa, Ibiza, este cerró…
