I imagine the first few nights free, Globgor spends it watching over Meteora.  Ok I know it sounds kinda weird. But following my head cannon that Globgor never got to meet Meteora in person before Shastacan got rid of her (which is why he ate him) He has this fear that if he takes his eyes off her, he might never see her again. He knows it’s irrational, but the fear is still there. So at nights, he watches over his baby.

So, I get that they did this gorgeous shot for stylistic purposes (and simplicity). But on a world map, it's probably really innacurate. Everything in this shot is definitely much farther away than what they're portraying here. And that's got me wanting to make a whole new map of Earth and Mewni!

We know that, in reality, the old Butterfly Castle is much farther away from the Monster Sanctuary, which is actually east of the Jaggies. And that Castle Avarius is in the middle of the Forest of Certain Death.

If anyone has a map of Mewni and the surrounding kingdoms (Spiderbites, Merfolk, etc) and wants to theorize where in America and on Earth some of these places ended up, I'd love to hear your ideas!

Inanis, daughter of Eclipsa Butterfly and Globgor, sister of Meteora Butterfly. After Eclipsa had reunited with her family a few years after she decided to have a second child. Inanis was raised in the monster temple, the royal castle of the newly established Monster Kingdom. Though a royal, she is not heir to the throne that belongs to her sister Meteora. It has been over a decade since the Monster Kingdom was created, though they are not treated very fairly still, they are still in an alliance with the other kingdoms of Mewni. Inanis dreams of being able to travel all over, however the furthest she has been is Butterfly Castle to see her "family". Though not related by blood, Eclipsa insisted that Princess Star keep the kingdom, so basically family. (Got a bit lazy today, so here's a doodle of Inanis in formal attire and some au stuffs enjoy)

Toffee, the living god of Monster Kind

so, you know how Ludo ended up setting up in that “ancient monster temple”?

I think that that temple was actually built by the monsters for the worship of Toffee. The guy is immortal, unkillable, possessed of magical abilities (which other monsters do not have), and is far more intelligent that the average monster. I think he may be the god of the monsters, who has been trying to reclaim his land for his worshipers for millennia.
