remus lupin on valentine's day hcs (that no one asked for but i feel the season of love around) :

will show up to your place with coffee and your fav donuts + something pink and sprinkly (he doesnt like it but he would do it for you no question)

forgets to get you flowers, which leads to a flustered remus setting down the coffee and "just a second love, i forgot something in the car" (he takes the train here).

gets your fav flowers, theyre a bit wilted but you love them because oh, rem, you really didn't have to, but he's just the sweetest with that sheepish smile on his face.

takes you out for dinner to a fancy restaurant (he definitely cannot afford it) and you look so beautiful he cant bring himself to care about anything but you.

gets flustered around you the whole night, but his hand doesnt drop from yours until you both get home.

he's nervous slightly, but he adores you so he thought you would like a fancy date. meanwhile, you just wish he would talk to you properly.

takes you home, asks you if you had a nice time to which you just smile slightly and admit you would've had a much better one if he had done more (or less, rather) than just a polite fancy dinner.

he's surprised because he didnt think that's what you would have wanted. blinks agape and just softens when you step closer to him, and then his hand is on your waist and his lips are feather light on yours, making up for everything, ever.

the night ends with you both curled up together on your couch, cuddling with an unhealthy amount of chocolate between you and a stupid romcom that he swears he's come to love because you do ("it reminds me of you, dovey. you remind me of love.")

and you just grin and kiss this idiot because how could someone ever be more lovely and entirely yours?
