my fav lesbian ship is tied between dorlene and pandalily
in my heart they’re butchfemme realness and anything butchfemme is a win to me
their rivals to lovers is also so peak
but also i just really love that because they were enemies/rivals before they even had the chance to know each other they fell even after seeing the worst parts of the other person (idk if i’ve properly conveyed what i want to say but it’s fine)
they both have unfortunate tempers but can usually bond over hating on someone/something else and get over whatever they were upset about
neither are super close with their families so they became each others family
marlene is openly the biggest loser lesbian about dorcas and dorcas pretends to be nonchalant in public (but in reality she’s equally as obsessed as marlene is)
before they admitted their feelings they loved to arm wrestle as an excuse to hold hands
both super competitive so they make each other better (but also sometimes bring out their worst)
dorcas tests out all of her new lipsticks on marlene to see if they’re kiss proof so after a shopping day marlene’s face is always covered in lipstick stains
dorcas is possessive but marlene is lowkey down to be possessed 🤷♀️
ok i’m gonna be so fr i think part of the reason this is so special to me is that as a baby gay 11 year old i loved ginny x luna
they both have very distinct styles but in reality they actually share most of their clothes just style and accessorize differently
pandora embroidered lilies on her lab coat and lily almost cried from happiness
both of them were horribly oblivious the other was flirting with them (pandora’s autistic ass is REALLY bad at social cues)
this culminated in a very drunk lily crying asking pandora to just reject her already instead of pretending she doesn’t notice and pandora saying she genuinely couldn’t tell and that she’d been trying to ask her out for months but lily thought the p on her notes stood for potter
lily and pandora both have the tendency to get too invested in their studies and not take care of themselves so they have to make sure the other is eating, sleeping, etc
pandora uses lily as a weighted blanket
they’re always doing some form of pda but it’s subtle (hand holding, arms wrapped around shoulders or waists, they’re always touching in some small way)

mary may have been lily’s bi awakening but pandora was lily’s first proper crush on a girl
