The Walking Dead; First Time Again
I'm watching The Walking Dead for the first time, I'm on season 2 episode 1. If anything happens to Carol, T-Dog, Duane, Dale, Morgan, or Glenn, I'm walking into traffic with a big battery attached to my backpack so that all of the cars will zwoop into me at full speed.
Edit: Adding Beth to the list of people whose deaths I wouldn't survive.
Pondering a bit on Maximus and Lucy.
Maximus sees Lucy as the one good person he’s met in the wasteland. He talks to Thaddeus about her. He has put her and her goodness and morality on a pedestal. I worry that when they do reunite, it will be in a moment that Lucy is doing something morally questionable at best and then looks up to see Maximus.
Kind of like Morgan in The Walking Dead. He’d been hunting down Rick, whom he saw as this beacon of goodness, and when he finally finds him, he arrives right as Rick kills someone. Rick looks up and sees Morgan. The look of disbelief on Morgan’s face was devastating.
I’m worried a similar scene is going to happen with Maximus and Lucy.
I would love if you guys could send me anons/requests! I'm so stuck right now and want to watch something exciting!!!!
"Rick lost his wife and son too and didn't go crazy like morgan did" RICK HAD COMMUNITY. MORGAN HAD NO ONE. HE HAD TO DEAL WITH THAT SHIT ALONEEE. YOU'D BE FIGHTING DEMONS EVERYDAY TOO
Owen (TWD) fic
You and Morgan sit in silence as soup boiled over a feebly lit fire. Neither of you look the other in the eye, just watching bubbles rise and pop, and steam curl it's way into the branches of the trees. One cough from him is met with a small sniffle from you. Both of you cherish times like these, where there's silence. Something so very rare now in this world. Leaves from a nearby bush start to rustle, causing your head to snap up. You look at Morgan, as if to say, 'Did you hear that, or am I mad?' Morgan places his hand on your shoulder, a comforting gesture.
You sit down, your gaze still locked on the suspicious bush.
"Soup's done." Morgan gently announces, breaking the silence.
You thank him as he hands you a cup of some warm, no doubt tasty, soup, then start lightly blowing it to cool it down. You hear a branch crack, and footsteps approaching you. Both you and Morgan pause, watching as a man ambled towards you. He crouches, all the while pointing a gun at you.
Your muscles tense, your eyes darted over his figure. Morgan, however, looks surprisingly calm. Before you can speak, Morgan greets the man.
"Good morning, sir."
He doesn't respond.
"Want to rest with us?"
"Do you know the myths?" The man asks, completely ignoring him. He begins to ramble about wolves turning into humans, and other nonsense. While you listen, you cross your arms, frustrated by his curtness. "Give that to me." He gestures to your cup of soup.
You blink at his sudden demand. "Why?"
"I want it."
"I can ask Morgan to pour one for you, if you want-"
"No, I want yours."
"Fine..." You hand him your cup, strictly to placate him. "Want anything else?"
"You."
A pause.
"Excuse me?" An incredulous look spreads across your face.
"You heard me. I want you, your things... Everything." His hand holding the gun is waved about lazily, gesturing to all the paraphernalia behind you and Morgan.
"And Morgan? Do you want Morgan too?"
The man shrugs. "Sure. As long as you come with him."
You scooch back, getting a little closer to Morgan.
"You can come quietly or you can come in a casket." A wide, toothy grin reveals itself on his face, and you've been exposed to a rather unsightly image of grime-covered teeth and gums.
The sight makes you cringe, but hearing Morgan shuffle as he grabs his stick reassures you. "We can do this the nice way, or the ugly way. Your choice." Warns Morgan, pushing the man back with the tip of his stick.
With you now fully behind Morgan, you watch as the tension rises, both men glaring into the other's eyes, each waiting for the other to make a move. "Now!" The man shouts, and suddenly another guy pounces out of the bushes, tackling Morgan right in front of you.
"Run! Go, Y/N!" You're friend yells, fighting desperately for his life and yours at the same time.
You take no time to hesitate, making a bee-line in the opposite direction of the commotion. Footsteps quickly begin following you, the sound itself seeming manic and mad. Dodging past trees, bushes, and jumping over cumbersome branches blocking your way, you feel like you've lost your pursuer. Nope!
Suddenly everything goes sideways and you're knocked down to the forest ground. A sharp tine of a branch pierces your forearm, and engenders a pained yell. You hiss in pain, while also attempting to crawl away from whoever went after you. Fancy trying to crawl with a pierced arm!
"Casket it is." The face of that damned man enters your view, slowly fading into darkness as you witness him begin to pick you up, no doubt carrying you someplace far away.

~•{Apologies if this isn't the most accurate! (As in whether the characters are in character or not) I've only watched a view episodes of the Walking Dead, and the few that I did watch, I only watched once! So yeah, I will take criticism, but only constructive criticism! Anyway, I do hope you enjoyed! Have a nice day!}•~
