It just occurred to me that “Soda Pop” is literally about the demons wanting to drink the souls of the fans to feed themselves. It’s like very on the nose if you look at the lyrics carefully.

Like, did Jinu have to write a song (because let’s face it he’s the most likely songwriter out of the five) about food so that the other four are motivated or something???

Jinu: So we’ll need a debut song in order to get the Saja Boys on the center stage. Perhaps something parallel to Huntr/x so it hurts more when-

Baby: I’m bored!!!

Mystery: When can when get souls!

Abs: Let’s write a song about food!

Romance: Yeah! Food!

Do you ever think Nahida will just sometimes, when she’s bored or whatever, read Alhaitham’s mind for the heck of it, and just find the repeated thoughts of “Kaveh. Kaveh. Kaveh Kaveh Kaveh. Kaveh.” And have to stop?

Something that I don't think people often think about with VoidWelt/LuoWelt is that Welt Yang is on decently good terms with Theresa Apocalypse. Not close per se, but they have similar circles and are sort of leaders of major organizations, even after the defeat of the Honkai. They also both close to the Hi3 trio and Einstein+Tesla. Moreover, Theresa helped organize the search for Welt in APHO. So while I wouldn't consider them "besties", I imagine the two to have a professional relationship.

That would 100% get thrown out the window the minute Theresa finds out who Welt is in a relationship with.

Because first you have the shock of actually finding Welt again after he's been kidnapped like 20 thousand times at this point, but then you add on the realization that he's dating the box your grandfather (your DEAD grandfather!) kept in his basement and/or actually just your grandfather in a different font.

And remember! Void Archives is the main reason Welt is in space in the first place. They took over a city! They committed intergalactic espionage! They did war crimes! War crimes that personal hurt people Theresa cared about.

(Didn't help that they also pretended to her grandfather for like a solid week and half, so that was also stressful).

And Luocha isn't innocent either. He committed actual terrorism. Kind of. Not sure. Honkai Star has overly complicated this subject.

Moving on.

This would also kind of make Welt Theresa's grandfather, which is hilarious because they are not that far apart in age, all things considered.

Like yeah, Tesla would probably immediately start threatening to throw people into her nuclear reactor again and Eins would probably send a drone/Coralie/Joffrey to spy on them, but this is funnier. Its like if you find out your teacher one of your parents. Emotional damage to the max.

Like it would go something like:

Theresa (Verge of exploding): WHY?!

Welt: (Turns)

(Behind Welt, Void Archives smiles like a maniac and/or Luocha smiles pleasantly, but his coffin is glowing ominously next to him)

Welt: I'm not perfectly sure either if I'm being honest.

In conclusion: Welt has horrible taste, but we all love him for it.

Bonus:

-Amber proceeds to just straight up threaten to castrate Welt and no one believe him because. Come on. It's Amber.

-Sushang thinks this is hilarious.

-Everyone from APHO tries to stab, punch, or maim Void Archives at some point. Mostly Adam.

-Joffrey's just glad to have his dad back.

ALNST COMIC “My fragile god, fading fast” SPOILERS

So I always had a feeling that Shine wasn’t going to be fully a good caretaker to Mizi, given how odd I found it to be how Shine wasn’t singled out compared to other alien guardians. Especially when Vivinos said that Shine was “fascinated with humans” but also didn’t fully understand them and the recent comic outright confirmed me theory but OH MY GOD IT WAS SO MUCH WORSE THAN I THOUGHT.

For one, it was already established Shine had a lot of jellyfish imagery but that she is an underwater species makes sense. But more horrifyingly, how Mizi came into her care through sheer chance after a horrifying event happened to what I presume is her mother and then came into an environment that was literally “crushing” her explains Mizi’s behavior is the previous comic.

Moreover, Jellyfish are known for being dangerous due to their stingers/poison. Mizi was literally growing up in a place full of “toxic love”. Which explains why she has such a fucked up definition of love.

Out of all the characters, Mizi has seemingly been the one who we’ve gotten the least info on in terms of both her background and her thoughts (it was usually from another character’s perspective like Till or Sua or Hyuna). But now, she has gotten so much in such little time that it’s clear a pattern is forming. It seems Vivinos is building up for something big Post-Wiege. And I don’t think it’s going to end well for Mizi.

Also, congrats MiziSua on the sex but damn I wish you had better circumstances.

Ranking the Astral Express Crew on how likely they are to get into a fight.

(Slight spoilers for 2.4-2.5)

5. March 7th:

Despite being very cheeky and energetic, March is usually not that confrontational. She will certain fight as necessary, but she doesn't go around attacking people. She is a bit more of a tourist than a warrior. The recent Luofu arc has proved that. Even in the tournament, she was nervous about being the ringmaster and taking on opponents. In fact, March's most recent character arc has been about her fining her own strength and gaining new skills.

4. Himeko:

Like March, Himeko is not often someone who seeks out fights. In fact, she has seen less battle time than March. We have also seen Himeko act as the diplomat of the express on several occasions, often being the one that deals in negotiations and important people, like the in epilogue chapter of Penacony. That being said, she has access to what is functionally and giant space laser and a sawblade briefcase. She will throw hands, she just resorts to more peaceful measures first.

3. Trailblazer

Whether you play as Caelus or Stelle, one thing that can be agreed upon is that they are a chaotic trash raccoon with the same level of craziness of one. They carry around a bat for pete's sake. However, they are not higher on this list for two reasons. First, while they have very much threatened people, more often than not end up into fights via circumstance or accident rather than intentionally fighting someone. Usually, they use their powers for funny rather than evil. The second reason is that, as a player character, much of the Trailblazer's dialogue choices are up to the player, so them being more aggressive can vary account to account (or on this site, headcannon to headcannon).

2. Welt:

Anyone who has played or read anything related to Hi3 know why he's here. Man can summon whole tanks and weapons back in the Second Eruption and still lost to a twelve year old TWICE. Has more often than move to violence a lot faster than other characters, and has threatened some as well. Hell, in his conversation with Acheron he implied he would disintegrate her if she was a threat to the express. And the funny thing is that he has lost more fights than won them. He just does not learn. However, Welt has kind of mellowed out over the years, peace and age probably helped, and has been a bit more of a diplomat like Himeko as of late. Still, we should very much not see a mad Welt.

Dan Heng:

I ANYONE surprised by this (Hell, the last post I made about him inspired this one). He has canonically stabbed at least two people, fought a twelve year old AND WON, "killed" his stalker/possible ex-husband (its complicated), almost summoned a warship to Penacony, has been involved with 4 out of the 6 initially weekly boss battles, and is by the far the most distrustful of strangers out of the crew.

And it's all because that he found people he can trust, which is frankly the bottom line for all of the express. If the people they love are in trouble, they can and will raise hell.

Bonus: Pom-Pom:

I could see them hitting people with a broom when mad. Especially a certain cube.
