Wear soft fuzzy jackets to feel like moth fuzz, or dress in the dark/neutral tones of moth cryptids! (or whatever colours you may be!)

coloured eye contacts!

wear feathered or fluffy coats!

try out different kind of vocals that remind you of your cryptidself!

learn about any cryptids rumored to live in your area!

draw yourself in a “cryptid” or “foundfootage” style

film or photograph yourself out in the woods, lurking on a street, etc, and try editing it! do things like blurring it, adding your cryptid features, and generally having fun making it look like evidence of your cryptidself. it’s super affirming and really fun to practice!

take on aspects of the different animals your cryptidself takes after! like freezing startlingly (deer) or using bright colours/hypnotic movements/ making yourself seem more intimidating (moth)

take walks in nature or around places your cryptidself would like to lurk!

start a “crowcore” collection! things to collect could be pressed leaves/flowers, feathers you find, cool rocks, bones, (do a proper sanitizing process!), shiny things, antlers, etc!

Tips for a vaguely humanoid creature thing with moth wings? Or just moths in general? <3

so we’ve done these tips for moth cryptids, and these tips for moth therians!! here are some new tips for mothfolk/cryptids/therians to try out!

learn about how to make moth wing gear and maybe try it out!there are many different ways varying in price and difficulty, from storebought, to wire, to coardboqrd, to fabric, to pop cans, and many more!

watch documentaries/ read books/ otherwise learn more about moths!

decorate your living space to feel more homelike to your kintype!

if you like looking/feeling less human, try doing “buggish” makeup looks! we might do an inspiration board for this someday, as these looks are really cool, and there are so many to try out!

collect moth plushes!

collect moth fidgets!

learn about pollination, or other ways moths fit into the ecosystem that you or your kintype call home!

try dressing in cryptidcore for mothlike beings, or with insect/moth themed clothes and jewelry for moth therians!
