Wondering if you could do a cryptidhearted/cryptidgender flag? Where you are spiritually connected to cryptids, or identify with them. (In my experience)

Cryptidhearted flags!

[All four flags have the same layout; they are divided into seven stripes each, with all but the center stripe (the “main stripes”) being the same width. The center stripe is much thinner than the main stripes and is interrupted / intersects with the otherhearted symbol, which takes up a sizable amount of space in the center of the flag.

[The first set/pair of flags is primarily blue-green, and fade from a shade close to dull seafoam green in the center to dark teal at the edges. The center stripe, and otherhearted symbol, are pale yellow. The second version of the flag has a mothman symbol in the center, laid over the otherhearted symbol.

[The second set/pair of flags uses the same brown and green color palette, but it’s inverted between versions. The first version is primarily forest green, with the darkest shades at the “edges” of the flag and a dull mossy green towards the center. The center stripe, and otherhearted symbol, are dark brown. In the center of the flag, laid over the otherhearted symbol, is the symbol of a flower in light brown, but with an eye instead of a flower at the end of the stem.

The Urge

Ah, yes. The urge to watch a person sleeping quietly, your eyes glinting off of the porch light.

The urge for that person to wake up, feeling something watching. To scamper away, a rustle of leaves the only evidence of your being.

The urge to make that person dream of a different body, to invite them to be kin. They wake up, the being not entirely sure what the dream was.

The urge to never be seen again, leaving that poor soul to find their way back to their brethren.

The urge to howl with them as the full moon rises in the dream world, as they never have accepted what they are in waking.

make yourself some kind of cryptid name! common themes are the place you’re often spotted, what you look like, or monster titles! (ex; jersey devil, loch ness monster, moth man, slit neck lady, etc)

make/buy gear that you connect to!

do makeup and contouring in ways that makes you look uncanny, inhuman, or cryptidlike!

decorate your living space to reflect the habit your cryptidself likes to lurk in! use things like plant decor, mood lighting, ambience/music/nature sounds, candles/scents, crystals/rocks/natural collections, etc!

sticky stars on your ceiling, or a star/moon lamp!

enjoy and appreciate the night, either by staying up or learning about space/nighttime!

go on walks alone (safely!) in any cryptid gear/ cryptid inspired outfit youd like, and just lurk about a bit!

practice some kind of haunting or creepy vocals!

wear hoods, hats, or masks in public to avoid being percived!

avoid photographs, or try to look mysterious/cryptidlike in them!

get lots of different ears, horns, tails, wings, fangs, claws, masks, antenna, hooves, and pretty much any other gear! switch it up lots when your cryptid appearance changes!

learn about how contouring with makeup can change your face, and have fun with it!

listen to different playlists that “feel” more like different forms of yours

practice many different kinds of vocals, and mimic many different creatures your cryptidforms look like!

find different styles and ways of dressing that mimic some of your shifted forms!

learn about any cryptids that are rumoured to live in your area!

decorate your living space to reflect any kind of den or lair you had!

use different themed pronouns for different cryptid forms!

give yourself some kind of cryptid name! (they usually use a location and monstrous title, but can also be a descriptive name! examples include the jersey devil, loch ness monster, and moth man!)

draw your kintype appearance(s) in a sort of sketchy, creepy, vague “cryptid” or “found footage” style!

get/make cryptid themed clothes and jewellery!

collect or make cryptid themed books, trinkets, art, and decor!

begin a little collection of strange things you find in nature, from bones to fangs to bugs or cool rocks, feathers, pressed flowers, snakeskins, etc! (please be safe and make sure you sanitize/take care of everything!)
