♡︎ a funky, completely unrelated question to this blog, but do any if you guys have motion-sickness? how do you cope with it? i have a special playlist full of rock and heavy metal songs because they draw my attention away from the nausea. just curious if someone has other methods :0

Recent research suggesting that a significant (~10%) of passengers in self-driving cars might experience motion-sickness because of... well, what seem like obvious things that anyone who regularly experiences motion-sickness will probably attest to. No sense of control or ability to anticipate movement for example, or that people who are trying to read text while a passenger might suffer more.
It would have been nice if the study with a title like that had found something more specific to self-driving cars rather than generally being a passenger in a moving vehicle.
Been so into playing Fallout 3. 19 hours in, still haven't gotten anywhere and only level 6. I'm having loads of fun. Surprisingly enough, Fallout 3's ending hasn't been spoiled for me so I'm looking forward to finding that out.
I've been sneaking around all the time, I think I got into that habit because of Skyrim. I play a theif character in Skyrim. So in Fallout, I sneak around getting critical hits. But being so cautious means I accidentally kill good guys. I aim from afar and try and hit things even if it doesn't show a target just so I can kill them without being seen.
I hardly ever use v.a.t.s, I'd rather aim and hit the enemies that way because it feels a lot more satisfying.
I'm actually pretty surprised that I like Fallout 3. FPS give me motion-sickness, especially on consoles. The Darkness makes me ill within minutes. I think five minutes of game time make me so ill that I had to lie down because if I sat up, I'd vomit.
But yeah, I'm really enjoying FPS on PC. Even if I can only play for up to 5 hours at a time. Else I feel so shit, it's not funny. I'm kind of feeling iffy now. XD
If a person tends to vomit or feel nauseous as a result of riding on an airplane, motor car or amusement park ride, this condition is generally known as motion sickness.
I don't know title is I don't know...
Yeaah, anyway, school is pretty hectic. I can't believe how busy I usually am!
Every morning I wake up extra early, get dressed, make sure I have all my things, go to the bus stop and wait for the bus. Stay on the bus until the end of the line because that's where the metro is. Get off the bus and head into the metro and board it when it comes. Wait until my stop and get off, then switch lines (there are different color lines/paths in our metros), wait until the last stop and then get off, cross the street several times, walk some more and then go into the school. Then go to classes, do my work, take notes, go home and do homework. YEEEP. So fun. Especially since I get motion sick so the long bus and metro rides make me super sick.
This is my goddamn routine every single day except for saturday and sunday. I need a break honestly, a break longer than just saturday and sunday. At least I have no homework right now, well I do but it's only due thursday so I'll be fine for now. I wish this post was more interesting but I just haven't felt like writing anything much lately. Blargh I'm so boring when I don't feel like doing things. Anyway, yeah, that's about it, already tired of school and it's only been a few weeks. :/
Oh boy this is going to be a LOOOOONG year....
