It has just come to my attention that I never shared these drawings I did back in September on here oops. These were just done for fun and then for NaNoWriMo I actually started writing a Phantom AU for Mozart L’Opera Rock characters with Mozart as Christine and Salieri as Erik, but gave up on it as I just felt generally discouraged and sure that no one other than myself would want to read it. But now I’m finally posting it on my nsfw ao3 account ( @crowdedmasks) as it’s an e rated fic and hopefully maybe some people will like it and I’ll feel motivated to write the rest. I’ve gotten the first 6 chapters done and the plan I made months ago outlines 26 chapters but we’ll see what happens.

A summary of the fic:

Wolfgang Mozart has just been re-hired as a violinist in the Opera Garnier in light of his father's death, after being fired for being to scandalous and unruly. In older, happier times Wolfgang used to creep back to a old, forgotten dressing room to play and compose in secret, but now when he returns he finds a fortepiano in the middle of the room, and a voice... He swears he can he a voice from behind he antique mirror.

A retelling of The Phantom of the Opera mostly inspired by Mozart L’Opéra Rock, with other influences drawn from the BUCK-TICK album Darker Than Darkness -style 93-, and the lives of various historical figures. It’s not necessary to be at all familiar with Mozart L’Opéra Rock to understand or enjoy this story.
