He’s also just really good at doing impressions of Muppets? Stand-outs include Kermit, Fozzie Bear, Beaker, Rowlf, Sam Eagle, and Lew Zealand

My guy adores Kermit

Personally, I love Gerard Canonico’s take that Lara Croft was Rich’s SQUIP, rather than evil Kermit, so I think post-SQUIP he’d go back to freely loving the Muppets and he wouldn’t be traumatized by Kermit or anything

He also gets a kick out of Pepe

Knows a ton of really niche facts about the Muppets and thinks the show The Muppets (based off The Office) was super underrated

Is amazed by Jeremy’s impressions

I think the main people who indulged in The Muppets were Rich, Jeremy, and Michael, plus Mr. Heere and Mr. Reyes since they would've kinda grown up with it. The rest maybe saw a couple movies or random episodes when they happened to be on at home, but didn't actively watch it.

For the Pacific Rim/BMC fusion which I will be writing for the big bang:

I am considering having Mr. Reyes killed off in the first kaiju attack; he was in California for reasons and unfortunately giant alien sea monsters happened. This will not a major plot point, just a sort of point of entry into where the story starts. No characters will really be angsting about it.

So to my lovely BMC followers, I ask your opinions:

Should I do this, and if so would that constitute a Major Character Death tag?

i just felt the need to say this. as an afro-latina, what mr. reyes said is unacceptable. frankly it made me very uncomfortable to hear him admit it and say that there’s no problem with it. there’s a lot of history behind that word and I noticed some people saying it’s “just a word” but it’s not. and for him to talk over Black people trying to explain this to him is also unacceptable

i have seen a lot of fans trying to say that he is Afro Latino but many people have said that both Madi and Ricardo have said that they aren’t black, but I don’t have any evidence so i can’t be sure. i do want to point out that there is a difference of being a darker skinned latino and being afro latino.

I know for me I’m always having to prove that I am black and if I was caught up for saying the N-word I would have said that I’m allowed to say it because I am black, I wouldn’t have been trying to say that it’s “just how I grew up” or “many people around me said it” like how Ricardo was. he tried to say his brother-in-law is black so it’s OK and going to these extensive lengths to prove that you can say it instead of just saying that “ i’m black so I’m allowed to say the N-word” is proof enough for me.

The way he went on Kash’s life to say it was weird as well because there was no need to drag her into it, she has been getting a lot of hate for it when it’s not her fault. Everyone saying it’s wrong for her to sit there and agree with him but i’m sure she was just shocked and when an adult is saying those things to you, you probably don’t know what else to say. I know if it was me I would be upset but I wouldn’t want to be super rude to him especially because I am a fan of the show and of the cast so I wouldn’t want to be hated for that. 

and finally Madi shouldn’t have to address it because she’s a teenager and her father is literally an adult and can account for his own actions.
