Gardening by The Feels Whale (miscellea)
Bilbo Baggins arrived home late one afternoon in the middle of the week and the entire west Farthing is still talking about it.
Poor Mister Baggins. He was doomed to be a nine-days wonder no matter what and is it any wonder after a year-long adventure? Even the Tooks haven’t the influence to hush that up, but Mad Baggins seems to have managed to silence every tongue in the Shire on that subject which would be awe-inspiring ...if not for the way he decided to go about it.
OR: That one where Middle Earth seems to be unclear about where baby Hobbits come from.
Eastern Homecomings by Sarcasmcat
After an unprecedented Goblin attack on the Shire, Bilbo finds himself whisked back to Erebor with his son he never wanted Thorin to know about.

Bilbo never imagined his pregnancy going quite like this. Crack.

A Home for my Heart by Moonrose91
For things Bilbo could not change, he was condemned to a life of isolation, with the belief that none could love him. And then a Dwarf came to Hobbiton.
Growing Dwarves (And Kingdoms) by Lumeleo
Sometimes, Bilbo finds, not everything goes according to plan.
First an injury and the coming winter delay his leaving Erebor, then word from the Shire leaves him mourning his beloved Bag End. And because getting added to Thorin's council isn't trouble enough, Kili is in love with an elf, Fili may or may not have his eyes on a certain little scribe, everyone seems to think he is a lady hobbit, and Thorin needs to find someone to marry.
Okay. So the last part might not be trouble, exactly, except for the part where it makes Bilbo's rather hopeless attachment even more painful. Or it wouldn't if he hadn't possibly accidentally promised to provide Thorin with an heir... and Dáin just might still be scheming something.
Fortunately, if there's one thing hobbits are good at, it's growing things. And Thorin did promise him a garden.
When the Sun Rises, I will... by Ragsweas
Bilbo Baggins of Bag End was not a very respectable Hobbit. No respectable Hobbit had a sword and crossbow hanging in their home, nor did they have Dwarves as family. But Bilbo Baggins did, and all of Shire knew of his husband, blacksmith Thorin Oakenshield.
When Bilbo comes home to find his Husband earlier than expected, he learns of a quest to reclaim Erebor. It is a death mission. Bilbo knows that Dwarves are stubborn creatures, and none more than Thorin himself. But nobody said that Bilbo himself was any less stubborn.
So he will follow his dearest husband across all of Middle Earth, through plains and mountains and forests, all while hiding the true nature of their relationship (Dwarven politics never helped anyone), brushing off some old wounds (and getting new ones) and finding out new things about the dwarf Bilbo calls husband (and his extended family).
Nobody ever said love was easy, after all.
Grow and Grow Love by SOABA
To Thorin’s great astonishment, Bilbo is capable of growing something much more incredible than pretty flowers and green food in his garden.
Merciless by silverneko9lives0
After the Battle of the Five Armies, Bilbo stays long enough to make sure Thorin lives, then sneaks off in the middle of the night with Gandalf, carrying more than he thought...
Several years later, Thorin returns for him.
An Unexpected Son by Luthorchickv2
Bilbo left Erebor with a treasure more precious then gold or rings. What happens when the dwarves discover Frodo? Will Thorin bend enough to admit he was wrong to force Bilbo to leave?
What Peace Brings by orphan_account
In the aftermath of the Battle of the Five Armies, Thorin's belief in Bilbo's betrayal has lessened, but not enough to take back his banishment.
Bilbo Baggins, accompanied by meddlesome wizard Gandalf, journey back toward the Shire with heavy hearts. When they reach Rivendell, Lord Elrond convinces Bilbo to start a new life amongst the peace and plenty in the Hidden Valley. Bilbo agrees, knowing that the child he carries will be endangered on the road and that the warm welcome and healing expertise of the elves will be just what he needs to start anew.
However, as part of the new found peace amongst Erebor and its neighboring lands, an envoy is sent to Rivendell in gratitude of the shelter they provided the company of Thorin Oakenshield. In this envoy are several members of said company.
Faced with this reunion, Bilbo must decide if keeping his secret and thereby preserving his heart from possible hurt is more important than forgiving mistakes and moving on from the past.
Soulmates And Where to Find Them by Lumeleo
Hobbits, Bilbo finds, have an exceedingly simple way of finding their soulmates: You fall in love with who you will, and once you both feel the same, you'll get your marks. Dwarves, in typical dwarven fashion, do everything backwards, getting their marks first and then trying to find the matching one. Really, he's quite content to be courted by Thorin, who has no mark at all.
Kíli has no mark, either, until they come to Mirkwood, and things get needlessly complicated. Because of course elves do things yet another way, as though Bilbo didn't have enough of a headache already.
Of course, there's also the ultimate question: how to tell about your pregnancy to a partner who is not only gold-mad, but also doesn't believe in the existence of illegitimate children?

While the triplets are in Cris Core having fun and influencing people, in their timeline planet-Aerith is like '... just give me five more minutes I can find them' and Sephiroth has come back from the dead just so he can personally upturn every mountain in Gaia. Cloud isn't even mad anymore.
Actually on kind of darkish turn I had an idea of when Aerith comes to bring the triplets back to their own time after the burn down Shinra Mansion they realise that they’re not actually being brought back to their own time but rather being erased from existence because their actions prevented the Nibelheim incident from... happening and thus prevented their own conception (Sephiroth doesn’t end up killed by Cloud and Hojo doesn’t artificially inseminate the captured Cloud with an attempt to recreate Sephiroth). Realising this Kadaj in a last-ditch effort to... not be erased from existence yells to Sephiroth that the Cadet Cloud Strife is their mother and hopes Sephiroth manages to... successfully woo Cloud (which is honestly an impressive amount of faith in his father). The next thing they know they’re back in what seems to be their own time but... no longer triplets but rather clearly 3 different ages (no Hojo to artificially inseminate means... they were all single pregnancies). Also Sephiroth is not dead and happily mated to Cloud.
Honestly though it’s just funny to think that at least all the heroes retain their memories of what originally happened as their world gets weirdly turned on it’s head every other minute because of the triplets actions in the past (like one minute Sephiroth is still alive, and... he’s dead again, this time he’s alive and still evil, now he rebelled against Shinra but is apparently unaware Cloud exists (Cloud finds the period that difference is in play a very VERY odd one), oh Angeal’s alive now but Zack’s still dead, Rufus has a baby, Rufus no longer has a baby (Rufus takes a sigh of relief), Rufus is dead, Rufus is not dead but apparently got disowned by his father?, there were three during the main game events Cait Siths, wait no - only two, Zack’s alive, dead again, alive again (this flickering in and out of life is really starting to feel odd to him), Denzel’s parents didn’t die, welp now they died even earlier, etc, the only thing that seems consistent is Vincent being woken up a earlier). All while planet-Aerith desperately tries to figure out where in the timeline they’ve vanished to to drag their asses back and limit the amount of shitfuckery they can cause. They thought these kids were a headache when they decided to start a cult and yet somehow SOMEHOW they managed to create even more chaos this time.
Mpreg Buck Idea: Eddie's Dad and Bobby bonding over becoming grandfathers. Maybe Buck is feeling overwhelmed and scared about the future and Bobby notices first and then asks Eddie's dad to come with him. Together they listen to Buck's heartbreaking fears and do all they can to ease them, regaling him with sweet stories of what it was like when they were first time dads. For Bobby it helps with some of the pain for his two lost babies, for Eddie's dad it gives him a chance to connect with Buck.

What's your take on Omega!Zack being Noctis' mum? (also, I have no idea what to call the parents in the Omegaverse, oddly never wondered about it before now. is the omega the mum even if he's a man??) It would be kind of awesome if he was in a poly ship with Aulea and Regis -- who are both Alphas (can two alphas mate and have a kid? it varies from fic to fic but most I've stumbled across says: "hard no" or: "it's incredibly difficult and/or risky").
Answering side part - I’ve seen mum, dad & dam used for an omega male who carries the child. I have also use all three depending on what I think fits best with the characters voice.
Anyway, back to the point of the ask - I very happily play with omegaZack as Noctis mum (I believe I have ramblings of him as Noctis’ carrier and Cloud as Prompto’s somewhere although it might be alpha Zack as Noctis sire I can’t remember). Normally I don’t much deal with the how the happened because Noctis’ parentage is fairly stable in the canon and tied to a number of plot points that are hard to fiddle with (unlike Prompto where clone can easily be substituted with Nifl fuckery and everything can play out the same). Having Regis & Aulea be in a poly relationship with him is probably the best way but I’m not one to ship characters that haven’t interacted at all gods bless Dissidia for solving that between a lot of Final Fantasy crossover ships.
Side point two - I’ve seen both alpha women being unable to get pregnant and it just being really hard to conceive and have a higher miscarriage rate. I personally tend to go the second option these days - I just feel it gives more narrative possibilities.
So I guess as much as I very rarely write true AUs and let me just hide the notebook filled with ficlet bits of them I tend to lean more towards those in playing with Zack as Noctis’ mum (or really parent at all). Just because it means I have to do less plot rewriting to be able to get to just the interactions between the two of them/how Noctis’ worldview might be affected by it.
The story ends. I made no plans to make a sequel. Maybe someday. I have some personal crap I want to work through before I take up writing again. So, I'll see.
Feedback please! I'd love an honest review! If I earn a nice one, that would be wonderful. Even better if you bought my book, but mostly here, I'm looking for reviews. I get so little feedback that I can't get a broad perspective of opinions for my work.
I know this book needs editing. But professional editors aren't cheap! I'm broke, but I'm working on that problem.
This whole book is one long experimental plot. I think only 1% of mpregs are any good. The rest range from stupid to total crap. So, as a personal writing challenge to see if I could turn what most people make into a plot stinker and turn it into a good story. That's it. For me it's not fetish fuel or anything weird. Just a fun story idea.
