Mrs. Walker headcanons

Was the primary breadwinner. Sure, Elias made good money, but she made BANK.

Served in the military as well, but went into some kind of administrative position instead of field work after David was born.

EXTREMELY fit. Could easily outrun Elias when they first met.

Wanted to have a 3rd baby so bad, but Logan's birth was particularly difficult, so they put it off.

Scolded Elias often for being too harsh on the boys and for favoring Logan.

Ran that house like the navy. Elias feared her (lightheartedly) more than he feared some of his enemies.

Her death was extremely sudden, likely a car accident or something similar.

Died not long after her and Elias finally started trying for that 3rd baby. They were hoping for a girl.

what was your favorite memory of your mom before she passed?

I have quite a few, but I think one of my all-time favorites was the time she made blueberry pie. It was her first one, and it ended up kind of liquidy. It was more of a syrup with blueberries in the crust shell.

It still tasted fantastic, and Dad had figured out that if you just mix it around, so the crust breaks into little pieces and mixes with the filling, then it was like a cobbler almost.

Even if it didn't turn out the way she'd planned, it was still fantastic. It was one of the last dinners we got to have together as a family before she got sick.

Dad has a copy of the recipe, I think.

I miss her a lot, she was the best.

Walker Family Headcanons

Elias and Mrs. Walker were trying for a 3rd kid when she passed (They were hoping for a girl.)

Mrs. Walker was a corporate baddie (Have you SEEN their house?) and was the main breadwinner.

Logan was a preemie and almost didn't survive, which led to Elias favouring him a bit.

Logan got better academic grades, but David got better PE grades.

Elias went no contact with his parents at some point.

Logan lowkey knew he was the favoured child and hated it.

Both boys were scouted for the highschool football team multiple times, but always said no.

As a kid, there were multiple times when Logan would stand in his parents doorway (mom I frew up style) and would scare the sh*t out of Elias.

Mrs. Walker kicked ass in Mario Kart. None of the boys ever beat her.

After the ODIN attacks destroyed their home, the only thing Elias went back for was a photo of the whole family before Mrs. Walker died.

do you still think bout mama Walker from time to time? Do you talk to Riley about her?

Yeah, I do. Logan and I talk about her sometimes, too.

Little angst thought:

What if when his wife died Elias was on mission, but they couldn't reach him because it was at the height of a complete blackout one. So he comes back, happy to be home only to have his world shattered that his wife has been dead for atleast a couple of days(possibly longer)

Even if they could reach him at the time, they probably wouldn't tell him about it so he could focus on the mission. So imagine Elias getting back after a mission well done, only to be told "Yeah your wife's been dead like three days and we didn't tell you just because we didn't want to distract you."

And in either scenario Elias would have a little freak out about where his damn kids are and what's going on with them. (Also how he's going to tell them about their mother.... and how he's going to tell them "Yeah I was too busy with work to even know for a few days/weeks.")

oh also! i figured you might want to know how i see the dragons in my head so:

elias: big man, probably at least 80 feet tall standing at his full height without counting the horns. built for endurance more than strength, so hes not the most bulky dragon. has a noticeable nick in his left ear and a missing fang on the lower left side. black scales with scattered gray and white patches (from the Stress of raising david and logan lol)

mrs walker: even bigger than her husband, over 100 feet tall. absolute unit, she was the tank of the family. bright red-orange scales with some copper flecks mixed in

hesh: 40 feet tall. broke off his right horn as a stupid teenager. more built for speed - lean and long. has a few scattered scars and patches of missing scales. dark brown and green scales.

logan: 35 feet tall (the baby). horns still intact. somehow. agile and stealthy. sandy brown scales with GOLD

BIG BOHY. Ayo? They got visable ears? Ah man, I was going with lizard ears where they're all internal. What do they look like bro? (He's going grey even as a dragon oml lol.)

TANK of a mom. Makes sense given she's gotta protect her babies. Doesn't hurt that she can also kick some ass for her hubby.

HAH. Just ran into a wall, pops off. Elias and him looking at it in absolute shock. (Riley snatches it like a bone.) And he's been put through the wringer as well lmao, scars and missing scales. Hesh, learn to take it easy!

Small but mighty. Horns intact because he's not a doofus like Hesh. Pretty pretty boy!
