Fun fact: If you look like a big tall manly man with manly man features, saying “you’re almost as big as me” to a transfem is not the compliment you think it is and could in fact make the transfem in question feel dysphoric
Voice training as a trans woman is so hard. Whenever I try to sound like a girl, I sound like Yuno Miles.
I know "Caramel" is about something completely different but when Vessel says "Missing my wings in a realm of angels" it's just what being an extremely closeted trans girl with some girls feels like. When they talk about whats it like being a woman and talking about womens clothing and make up pretty nails and im just thinking "i can relate a bit but i wish i could relate more and be like that" but i cant say anything and yea .... also the rest of the song feels like my closeted trans experiences: having to perform all the time but the performance is killing me but yea i guess ill keep dancing along to the rhythm .. </3
dysphoria is so stupid lol wym i put on the wrong socks and now i’m going to completely disassociate from my body that’s not very cool
Il never be a fucking woman
Looking Glass
Mirror, Mirror,
Where has my reflection gone?
The one in the mirror is someone
I don’t recognize.
Her hair is not mine,
Her face is not mine,
Her body is not mine,
Who is that, Mirror?!
Why does she look at me with those sad eyes?!
Why does she clutch herself so?
Why is she so covered in scars?
Why does she cry, Mirror…?
Please make it stop…
…
Oh no.
Oh goodness.
Mirror… is that me?
I’m so sorry sweet thing.
Who hurt you my love?
Why do you cry so?
It’s okay my dear,
You don’t have to cry anymore.
You’re beautiful darling.
You’re so beautiful.
Words that simply echo off of the wall.
Words that would be sweeter coming from a mouth not my own..
I’ve been feeling dysphoric and doubt
so here are some questions to ask yourself when doubting if you’re really trans
Questions:
If you could change anything on your body to make your ideal body. How would you look/sound like?
How do you picture your future?
Would you rather get rid of your questioning by having you mind change to fit your body, or have your body change to fit your mind?
If you picture yourself in a relationship with someone how do you picture yourself? Do you see yourself as the girlfriend, boyfriend or significant other (or other neutral names)?
If you get treated as the gender you feel you are how does that make you feel?
And if you get treated like your agab how does that make you feel?
My answers:
I would have a flat chest and a more masculine upper body. Less prominent hips and more “masculine” thighs. I would be taller, around 1,70/1,80 meter (5’6/5’7). I would have a deeper voice, not too deep tho maybe more a neutral voice. My face would have sharper features and a sharp jawline. I would never have periods or anything. I wouldn’t care if I have a penis of vagina, I would be cool with a neutral thing if it was possible.
It’s hard to picture a future but if I have to picture it I see myself getting top surgery and starting a low dose of T or maybe a normal dose. I would stop after a year or maybe 2 years, when I’m satisfied. I don’t picture myself like a full men, more non binary with more masculine features. I have no idea what job I would have but it needs to be something I kinda enjoy. I would finally find a partner, doesn’t really matter boy, girl or enby. And most importantly I would be called Miles and he/him all time instead of getting misgendered and never hearing my name.
Definitely by changing my body to fit my brain. I just really can’t imagine myself being “a girl” that would mean I need to change parts of my whole personality.
I definitely don’t picture myself as someone’s girlfriend. Boyfriend sounds great for me but gender neutral terms are great too.
It makes me feel great and valided. It’s hard to explain but it just feels right I guess.
I’m used to it but it sucks. Being called she/her makes me cringe and I hate it. I hate hearing my birth name and wish I could scream to everyone that I want to be called different.
I hope this post helps someone. Feel free to add your own questions and to answers these in the comments.
