Media Ghost AU
The idea where after a machine malfunctions on the Lost Light a bunch of humans are randomly taken from Earth. But very slightly only one of them realizes that they aren't even from the same continuation of Earth.
Where sure, the range of humans have experienced a war front of autobots and decepticons destroying major urbanized civilizations; countries falling into ruin from the seekers, forests up torn by foreign alien spaceships crash landing on the daily.
But when they hear of a different incident almost all chalk it up to the idea that the news was too crowded to cover the attack on New York, or on California. Because in a very clear light it is obvious that it is something that the cybertronians would end up causing.
Then a singular human in the newly warped bundle realizes that apart from the strangest of being in a starship. That everyone is talking about aliens and large mechanical life forms, specifically calling out factions, as if it is the reality instead of a fictional reality made by a toy company, otherwise Hashbros.
Finally coming to the conclusion that in the large scheme of things, not only have they suddenly been stolen into a completely parallel reality to their own. But additionally, they are to deal with knowing the entire plot of the current IDW continuation and be unable to share the absurdity of it all in the sense that all the other people there are completely freaked out, scared out of their minds, justified skeptics to living alongside the robots that have been portrayed as terrifying war machines.
Basically becoming first contact with cybertronians for their Earth, having a lot of secrets, and having the ever present loom of foreshadowing danger lingering overhead.
Pushing my simpatico agenda.
I fucking put soul into this.
This is not actually my soul, but nevertheless.
Brainstorm with his resident human dumbass bimbo/himbo. He’d totally let you name all the inventions he makes after you’re around.
now all of them have names like the jimmy neutron9000, the super ultra mega cannon, the super ultra mega cannon 2 electric boogaloo, the self deletion completionator, nerf supersoaker, pinhead Larry, thing
They get to feel included and he doesn’t even bother to name half of them anyway so it’s a win win
I want Brainstorm to conduct a series of cartoonishly absurd experiments on me, if only to see how long it takes for him to hit one of my kinks without trying to.
Brainstorm seems like the kind of character who takes cartoonishly impossible kinks as a challenge. He just seems like he's the kind pf person who sees some disclaimer or discourse on a story or fetish forum or something calling a something dangerous to even attempt and impossible to achieve, and has a 50/50 chance of thinking to himself "you don't know that" and set out to MAKE it possible.
What does it take to flatten someone paper-thin and have them still be totally fine? What does it take to un-do the flattening? How taffy-like can you make someone/something while still allowing it to function correctly afterward? What would you need to do to a mechanism's internals to make them fill up like a balloon, and how does filling them with different materials change the processes needed? Ridiculously big tires and the like are pretty basic, but sometimes a fun variation catches his attention and he's bored anyway so he might as well occupy himself.
i love the idea that he just has so, so many kink-rays and bombs and whatnot that he tried to pass off as viable weapons during the war that he made out of boredom/curiosity/i-could-totally-do-that, even if most of them aren't his cup of tea.
Foolproof? No, they're everywhere
