Is it common to have alters that are protectors of other people? Like for friends of the systems or partners or family? And are they just called protectors still or is there another term?

Limitationszwänge

Komplexe Systeme stünden unter Limitationszwängen, schreibt Luhmann. Nicht nur die Gesellschaft, auch die Systeme erscheinen ihm komplex. Der Limitationszwang ist die engste Stelle des Systems, seine Klamm oder Furche, seine phobische Stelle. Nur an der engsten Stelle steht das System unter Limitationszwängen, an allen anderen Stellen steht das System in Details, die ohnehin immer limitiert sind und kanalisieren, schon weil jedes Detail getrennt und assoziiert ist.
