After a case gone bad FBI agent, Dean Winchester, transferred to Little Rock for a new start but on a sweltering summer morning he and his partner, Benny, are called to a crime scene that drags his past into his present and the whole nightmare starts back up again. Cas is refusing to talk to anyone but Dean and Dean doesn’t think he can face him; can’t seem to reconcile the man accused of murdering 11 people with the man who’d shared his bed for nearly two years. Cas insists Dean is in grave danger, talk of skinwalkers and angels making Dean ache for the broken person he once loved, maybe still does.
When Cas escapes and shows up at Dean’s apartment, insisting Dean come with him, Dean tries to run but everything goes black. When Dean comes to he’s in some sort of library, Cas is on the floor and his brother is rushing to help... except Sam wouldn’t be caught dead in flannel. It’s when he sees himself enter the room that he knows something is horribly wrong and maybe Cas isn't so wackadoo after all.

Dean Winchester tugged at the starched collar of his shirt, grimacing in the muggy mid-morning heat. Sweat gathered on his upper lip and he wiped at it, a futile endeavor. He hooked his hands on his hips in an effort to avoid rings of sweat under his arms. He’d forgone the suit jacket and tie but the waistcoat was still oppressive in the cloying humidity, everything damp from the grass at his feet to the crack of his ass.
“I swear there is just nothing like Little Rock in July.”
Dean cut his eyes to his partner, the shorter man grinning at him behind mirrored aviators. Dean didn’t know how Benny could stand there in a full three-piece suit much less a beard and page-boy cap in this kind of heat.
“They say how long this sucker’s been out here?” Dean asked as they trekked farther away from the car, the well-kept lawn near the shoulder of the road giving way to waist-high grass. The field stretched for miles to the east but their destination was only a score of yards away.
“Nah,” Benny waved a hand. “Heard the uni puking in the background though.”
Perfect. Dean glanced up at the bright blue sky. A wayward puff of a cloud hung lonely above them but it gave no relief from the brutal sun, not quite blistering but gearing up towards it. Dean could see a gaggle of uniformed officers all standing close together and jawing while a tall woman in a pantsuit stood a ways away, surveying the ground with her hand hooked on her firearm. A blond ponytail bobbed above the grass every once in a while and it wasn’t until they’d passed the unis, silent and glaring at the flash of their badges, that Dean recognized the coroner.
“Nothin’ to bag, Jody. There’s no body. Just skin. Better to get a bucket, I’d say.”
Dean’s eyebrows rose and when he turned to his partner he found Benny’s expression matched his. They were careful as they stepped closer to the cleared space where the two women stood.
“Detective Mills?”
The tall woman didn’t take her eyes off the ground at her feet. “Special Agents Winchester and Laffitte. To what do I owe the pleasure?” Her tone suggested it was anything but.
Dean cut his eyes at Benny before he let a grin pull across his face. “Heard you caught a homicide. Just wanted to offer assistance. I know you’re stretched thin.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home is the epic conclusion to the third Spider-Man franchise and the one that ingeniously takes advantage of the fact that we all know there have been way too many Spider-Man franchises in the span of just one movie-going generation. So the script cleverly creates a dent in the multi-verse that somehow brings all the baddies from the previous films to fight Tom Holland's Spider-Man, even though they've been defeated to death by Tobey Maguire's and Andrew Garfield's earlier incarnations of the comic-book hero. Who can help Spider-Man best with such an entangled problem? Avoiding spoilers for anyone who managed to overlook them during the last two years, this turns out to be a live-action celebration of the concept first seen in the excellent Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse while also managing to be moving in uniting heroes and fans of the whole franchise together. The action sequences are great, and the cast of this third reboot, by putting aside the past, finally owns the right to play these iconic heroes. Spider-Man himself goes through an existential crisis resulting in a sacrifice similar to Daniel Craig's James Bond, which was inspired by Nolan's Batman treatment in the first place. So, you see, all our heroes have become too serious in the end, proving they all belong in the much larger multi-verse we otherwise call "culture."

Sans- So they like him just because he's him? They'll tell him that he's doing good, and make him things and wanna cuddle and kiss him? Wow that's something he really needs, no for real, he needs this now. The first time they gave him just a few kisses on his skull his face would grow a bright blue color and he'd chuckle, tugging his hood over his head and face to hide because he was embarrassed, and when they bring him ketchup that they might have made or something? Man he feels like he's gonna cry! That's so nice of them, and to be honest he has no idea how to react. Sure, he's gotten a lot of nice things from his brother but this feels different, and after they get together and they cuddle with him all the time, petting the top of his skull with their soft hands telling him he's been doing good today and how proud they are of him? It... honestly does make him cry sometimes. Why do they care so much about him? He'll make some puns about it but then when they're alone, he'll get serious, and ask if they really meant all of what they said, all of what they're doing, is it just to mess with him or do they really love him like that? If they smile and kiss the top of his skull, telling him that he's one of the most important people to them? He's going to break down and sob. He really needs someone that makes him feel safe and protected because he almost never feels that anymore.
Papyrus- Ah-ha! Another person that loves the great and amazing Papyrus, hm? Well fear not human, he thinks that you are quite amazing as well! At first he thought everything that they did was just to be nice, but after a while he realized that this could be seen as flirting! Gasp :O was he being flirted with? He thought about it long and hard and decided to do the smart thing and just ask them? If they told him that yes, yes they were, he'd smile and offer to go on a date! He really loves all the nice things that they have to say about him, they make him feel fuzzy on the inside which is weird because skeletons don't have insides! Also the kisses are nice and he'll try to give them some back even if he couldn't, you know, exactly do that... sadly. Sometimes he wonders if they're doing this just to try to become friends with the great Papyrus! Or... something else? Like Flowey? He'll have to think about that for a bit as well but he'll shake his head and just be happy with them. It really does mean a lot to him, the nice things that they said, because even though Papyrus is great he doesn't... always think that, and sometimes it makes him upset to even think about it. At least he has someone that cares about him now that isn't just his brother or Undyne, he has a real datemate now that loves him, and he loves them too!
Blueberry- Well of course you'd give him affection! He is the magnificent Sans! Everyone should want to give him affection to get his attention... Oh wait they're not stopping after just a little bit of time! They really want his attention? They really want to be nice to him like this? Oh wow okay Uhh... wow he doesn't really know how to respond to this. Well thank you human, it is very sweet! At first he really doesn't know how to react to whatever they're doing, all the head pats, all the head rubs, all the attention and hugs... though he quickly grows used to it! Why wouldn't he? And when they got together and they started to bring him food and give him so many nice kisses and stuff? It makes him so happy. He's always wanted attention from people around him that's one reason why he wanted to be part of the royal guard but then this human is so sweet to him and gives him attention and will come whenever he calls? It makes him so happy! It is honestly a little embarrassing sometimes though if he's to be honest. It's mostly just because he doesn't know how to respond to it. He'll make sure to make them food too, and he'll hug them whenever they're upset and will protect them at all costs! Mostly because he loves them and feels like he really needs them... Plus they never get annoyed when he's running around or too excited and they'll help him with the things that he likes to do! The riddles and such. His brother is normally the one for puzzles. Blueberry just takes them and makes them while his brother comes up with the plans and never does anything with them.
Stretch- When he first meets S/o and they start to be so nice to him right off the bat, he's going to be a little shocked and unsure how to respond, because that isn't something he was expecting. He figured that they were just a nice person, and leaves it at that. He doesn't mind the head pats that they give, as long as it's not too hard because his skull gets headaches often, come on man. Then they just kept going with that, they kept being kind to him even bringing him food when he forgot to eat and Blue didn't make him anything, just because he was busy with other things. Stretch hid the fact that he didn't eat well so he wondered how S/o found out about it? He didn't know but he doesn't really care, they're a good cook so he thanks them for the gift and leaves it at that but they keep going! Keep helping him out, keep being sweet, keep on... just being them and of course he fell for them! He didn't know how to feel about someone being so kind to him. Sure, people were pretty nice to him but a lot of people thought of him as the lazy pun slinger that doesn't care about things but he does care about things, he cares about things way too much and S/o seems to realize that and it makes him feel better to know that there's someone that understands that he's not just some... idiot. When they're together and they keep giving him kisses and cuddles ah man he grows addicted to it and will nuzzle up against their neck whenever he wants them to kiss him or head pats.
Axe- To be honest, when Axe first met S/o, he didn't trust them. There was no way that someone that nice was being nice to him for... no reason, right? There needed to be a reason! He had to find out the reason. Each time they gave him a kiss, each time they snuggled up against him or told him how good he was at something? He was slowly getting more and more drawn to them and it was scary to him, because he never really thought he'd fall for someone like that. They were just so sweet and nice and they made him happy and it made him want to cry because he didn't think he deserved it, but he knew that if he said something like that, they would get upset and tell him that yes, yes he did! He did deserve it because that's just how they are and he doesn't understand them! He just... can't understand. It doesn't matter that he doesn't understand them though, it matters that they're still around. Nowadays, he really can't tell if he'd be able to live without them there with him, telling him that he's doing good, that he's a good guy because so many people have been telling him he's bad for so long. He never wanted to hurt anyone, he just wanted his brother to be happy, to be fed, to be safe! Now they're up here and they have enough food and the humans are so kind.... he knows that he doesn't deserve it anymore but he's going to be greedy, and take it anyway. He'll take everything and all that they have to give him because he needs it.
Noodle- Well thank you very much for being kind to him human! It's honestly very nice for him, he didn't expect humans to be so kind to him after what he did to a lot of humans... well what his brother did, but he still did stuff too. He ate humans... his brother never did, but he did and cooked with them. It made him feel a little bad to think about now, but he knew that it was needed and not really his fault! Giving him food is his favorite thing that you could do, just because food is nice, you know? He doesn't really understand why they're so nice to him, why they give him things, why they want to help him with his bones when they hurt... it's all really confusing for him, and he really doesn't think he deserves it just like his brother thinks but if they're going to be nice to him, he doesn't mind! He likes the attention and he likes how kind they're being. It does get a little embarrassing at times if they try to kiss him in front of other people because of how tall he is, he'd most likely have to lean down so they could kiss him easier. It's silly and cute but he doesn't mind! He finds it really cute. He likes how they always like cuddling and how they don't seem to fear him because sometimes he wonders if they should? Now he's so drawn to them, he's so stuck to the idea of them loving him that if they did try to leave him, he doesn't know what he'd do with himself. He needs them.
Red- God give him a minute. How can they be so sweet in a world so bad? He cannot believe it! For real, they must want something from him, right? Yeah, that's most likely it. Every time they say something nice to him he expects them to say nevermind after laughing at him. Yet... that never happens. They never laugh at him, they never tell him how weak he is, they never try to kill him they even make him food and carry him to bed when he's really sleepy and can't even move. It's crazy that they're trying to be so nice to him he really has no idea how to respond to it. It takes him a little bit to realize that they're being nice to him to just... be nice to him? At first he thought about abusing that. He could get them to do anything he wanted just by asking but also the idea of making them upset made him... well... upset? How strange. After they got together he'd grow to love the affection, sure sometimes he'll need it to go slow but after they're together for a while he would realize that he can't be without them anymore. He needs their affection, he needs their attention, he just... needs them! It's embarrassing and he knows that he's weak for having to have someone else. It's just a string that he's tied to now but it's not something he would ever want to get rid of. He needs this, he needs them.
Edge- What kind of trick is this? Well whatever it is, he isn't going to fall for it! ... Oh no! He's falling for it! Ugh he likes this stupid human, why does he like them? Why are they so sweet to him? They live in a world that isn't good, yet they still try to be kind. It honestly makes him annoyed sometimes but other times it makes him happy because... well... he misses a time where everyone was nicer that time is long ago though, so he doesn't think about it too much. If he sees them being kind to other people he'll honestly get a little bit jealous because that's supposed to be for him! His cuddles, his head pats! Dang it... as long as they make sure to help him cook dinner and pat his head he doesn't really care what they do... when they make him food he gets a little happy but also finds it just a tad annoying because that means he doesn't have to cook and he likes to cook just... might not be the full best at it! Sue him, shut up. When they ended up getting together and they give him all sorts of kisses? It means so much to him, and he won't change a single thing about them other than make them immortal so they can't die by getting killed by someone else. That's something that worries him often because, you know, they live in a dangerous world but if he finds out that they can take care of themselves? Man he thinks that they're just perfect! He wants nothing more than to do that human thing called marriage. Getting told he's doing good all the time is going to go straight to his head though.
Lord- Ugh they're too soft, and annoying with all their attention going to making other people happy. How many times have they patted his shoulders, or given him something to eat, or a drink when he was thirsty? So annoying... wait why are they stopping? Don't stop, what are you doing? Give him attention! At first, to be honest, Lord will act like he hates it but he loves all the attention that he gets from them and will often go to them and tell them what he did to get them to tell him that he did good! After they got together and they always cuddle up against him, which was so nice! He loves it and the kisses are nice but it makes him embarrassed and flustered because sometimes he doesn't know how to respond to it. The best thing to do is cuddle him and press kisses against his skull while saying such nice things about him and they'll get to see him with a bright purple blush that looks like it would explode. Just don't do it in front of people or he'll whine and complain.
Mutt- This type of person is Mutt's favorite type of person to be around! They're sweet, they're kind, they like to hug him and give him cuddles and snuggles. He misses the time that he and his brother would lay together and just talk so whenever they're around each other it brings back really good memories. When they got together, it made him even more happy. He loves all the cheek kisses that they give and he'll give some himself back! Of course making sure to be careful with his sharp teeth because he really didn't want to hurt them, he didn't think he could forgive himself if he did. Of course sometimes something in the back of his mind is telling him to take them out, there's no reason for them to be that kind if they didn't expect something back, or they're trying to find a weakness but he always ignores those thoughts. Why would he want to hurt S/o? Why would they want to hurt him? That makes no sense at all! If it keeps going he'll talk to his brother about it, all upset, and his brother would help him relax. He likes all the food that they make too! Just uh... be careful, because Lord is really protective over the kitchen and will sometimes grow angered if they're in there for way too long because he has things to make too! Sometimes it can become a little too much for him, to be honest though, so it's best to make sure to ask before hugging him because there are days where he doesn't want cuddles or hugs or kisses and just wants to be left alone. Those days are the bad days.
