I love this wrinkly old bastard so damn much- Oh! Right! If you have watched any amount of Rick and Morty, you know why he qualifies. He loves to pretend like he doesn't care about Morty, and everyone really, but he really DOES care deep down, a few of his acts of him caring about Morty include but are not limited to: Sacrificing himself so Morty can live, giving Morty his labcoat when they both were freezing, lying to spare Morty's feelings, using himself as a human shield for Morty, spoiling Morty, and missing the chance on seeing his dead wife again so he can spend the rest of his night with Morty, while also showing that he has a picture of Morty in his wallet. Despite all this though, he does deny that he cares about Morty at all, telling Morty that he's expendable and emotionally abusing the poor boy. He also has a tendency to either depend too much on Morty for EVERYTHING or completely isolate himself from everyone, including Morty.

Max (Camp Camp)

Our favorite little Satan! So, Max is a lot younger than the rest of the people on this list, while Rick is the oldest at 70, and Bojack is around his late 50s, Max is only 10, he still qualifies for this list tho! So Max is an extremely cynical, sarcastic, pessimist. Kinda reminds me of a certain someone...*Cough* RICK *Cough* So he qualifies for this list since there are multiple people he cares about, he tends to bury this though. He tends to be harsh to those he cares about, especially David, who's his father figure. Now to quickly run by some of the stuff he did for David, one time Max felt guilty after lashing out at him (Something he almost NEVER feels) and sets up a bonfire David wanted to do, leading to his first genuine smile of the series, tried to get David back with his girlfriend after David was upset about it for over a week, hugged David, kept a painful truth from him, stopped someone from framing him, and letting David hug him and ruffle his hair despite not liking it. But he does hide this by bullying David basically, insulting him, stealing his phone, and just making David's life harder in general, he actually hated David in the first season, but did eventually warm up to him due to David's unwavering kindness

Okkkaaayyy I know the least about this show since it didn't click with me as much as the other shows did, I don't hate it, but I like the above shows a lot more, so please forgive me if I get any information wrong! So, Bojack is a washed-up actor, he is a depressed alcoholic and had abusive parents, which made him into the emotionally closed-off cynical he is...I'm starting to see a pattern with these characters...anyway! Bojack seems to dislike attachment, as he didn't want to tell one of his girlfriends that he loved them, or likes telling anyone that he loves them at all. So some nice things Bojack did for people include, letting one of his exs know that he did truly love her, giving a legitimately heartwarming speech to one of his best friends after never saying a nice thing to him, immediately accepting and supporting one of his friends who came out as asexual to him, AND helped clean up one of his depressed friend's apartment after she let him stay in her house for a night. But he hides this by never telling these people that he loves them, and by pulling away whenever he thinks that they are getting too close
