i love lautski with all my heart but everytime i hear the best of you i just think it fits jagertity better.

like "i never wanted to love you like i do" and feels right for them to me. like max never wanted to feel romantically for grace, and grace never wanted to feel sexually for max.

also "it's like you knew me before you knew me, it's like you saw me before you saw me" fits so well with how they read eachother like a fucking book

"lights up on the town, just as we start lying down" also feels like it fits better when one of them is a ghost.

a part of me thinks that while they were dancing a teeny tiny part of grace saw how that fit and missed max. wished they were the ones dancing instead of steph and Pete. felt like it should have been her and max. and yeah she had jason. but it didn't feel the same. she'd have to get rid of this one too anyways.
