Mummies Alive

Produced by DIC in conjunction with Northern Lights Entertainment, Mummie Alive is an animated series that introduces a youngster living in San Francisco who discovered he is the reincarnation of an ancient Egyptian prince.  An evil sorcerer wish to use this prices as part of a spell to obtain great power.  Fortunately, four powerful bodyguards are also reincarnated who act to protect the reborn prince.  

These mummy-like bodyguards include the high flying Ja-Kal (voiced by Dale Wilson); the cunning and serpentine Rath (voiced by Scott McNeil); the hulking  Armon (voiced by Graeme Kingston); and the fierce Nefer-Tina (voiced by Cree Summer).  Along with the villainous sorcerer, the heroic mummies often have to contend with gods and spirits from Egyptian myth summoned to the modern world, including Anubis, Set, Bes, and many others.

Mummies alive premiered in September of 1997 and was released in concert with a series of action figures and play-sets.  The show ran for a single season of 42 episodes.

But now I’m wishing I made it a bit bigger so I could’ve added a few more characters😭

I had some free time and a right mood, so I decided to make something like this with all my favorite male characters

because, honestly, why not?

I think I’ll do a similar one with my favorite ladies as well 💕

🤔 I also added names to everyone, just in case. If someone doesn’t know a character and gets curious, it’s easier to find out where they're from

👀 As for the placement, well, this is simply my personal attempt to arrange them on a scale from "friendly and nice" to "run for your life"
