How did you get into writing fanfiction?
Hmm, this is a hard one, because I honestly don’t fully remember. I remember writing fanfiction long-hand way back as a little kid. Honestly, the first smut fic I wrote (with Vegeta) was written long-hand in a Hilroy scribbler and I was probably no older than ten, and I was writing fics before that. I distinctly remember writing Dream Street fanfic for myself, but I don’t remember being a ‘fanfic author’, where I shared my stuff with other people, until later on, preteen years or something like that, where I coauthored a Harry Potter fanfic with another geeky friend, all written long-hand and exchanged in a binder. I didn’t even dream about posting fanfiction online or even know doing so was a thing until my later teen years, probably around 15-16, when a friend introduced me to Quizilla. I fell in love with it and started posting my long-hand fics, OC content, reader inserts, and all kinds of things. I love tumblr and I love all of you very much, but I also won’t lie and say that those days weren’t some of my fondest memories within fandom, where so many people were incredibly welcoming, there was always people willing to initiate, making friends within fandom was super-easy, there was anon hate, yeah, but there was also so, SO much love and acceptance of all types of contents and everyone just really seemed to be there to have fun. God, I miss the Quizilla days. I think I started writing fanfiction for myself, because I wanted to write myself going on all these marvelous adventures with the characters I love and having them all love me so much too. I needed that escape. Then, once I discovered the thrill of having readers, the wonderful pressure of wanting to give them content they’d enjoy, the dopamine rush of any feedback or view, I just could not give it up.

You accidentally killed somebody. Which mutual(s) do you text for help?
I’m not calling or texting any mutual in particular. Honestly, after freaking the fuck out, I’d probably be responsible enough to post a public post here on the blog, telling all you lovelies how much I’ve loved creating for you, telling you that I messed up and have done something really bad, that I’ll be gone for quite a long time, but that I will miss you all. With that done, I’d then turn myself into the police and beg for forgiveness and mercy.
What’s the fastest way to become your mutual?
Because this is a sideblog, something off my main account, I can’t really be a true mutual with anyone. I can’t follow anyone with this account, but I do follow with my main blog, sometimes without people even realizing it’s me following them. But as for quick ways to be mutuals? There’s really not any super guaranteed way. Though it might sometimes take me months, I do try my best to check out the blogs of everyone who follows ciaossu-imagines, normally in big batches of just checking out blogs. If I find a blog I really click with or enjoy, I follow it, simple as that. I’m not someone who really believes in follow for follow, sorry. I will say that, if I see someone pop up in my notifications a lot or if I actively chat with them, I’m quicker in getting to checking out their blog and more likely to actively follow them because I’ll be just so sure that they’re absolutely the coolest, as I know all my followers are 😊
Name three good things going on in your life right now
I will be getting benefits hopefully quite soon. I have a weekend away with friends near a beach, at an Airbnb with a hot tub, at the end of April (trying to do nice things for myself more), and I have new sneakers that are much more comfortable and not as tight as my previous sneakers.
Share some personal wisdom or a life hack you swear on
Hmm…this one is a hard one to answer and it’s going to be a hard truth for a lot of people. Don’t focus so much on the things you can’t control, instead focus on the things you can. It applies to a LOT of life situations, honestly.
One of the main ones, and one that I think I can speak better on with the grace and wisdom of age on my side, is being so, so worried about what people think of you. I know that can be a tough thing for a lot of people, neurotypical and neurodivergent both, so I’m not going to go into mental illness here and how that can make things worse, but instead do a general blanket statement. You cannot control how other people react. You cannot control the first impressions that people get of you, their thoughts about you, whether or not they like you. You really can’t, no matter what you do or how hard you try to change yourself into something you think they’ll like…what you can control is your own words, your own actions, and your own choices. I know in my life, right at the moment, there are people who either deeply dislike me or who are not fans of mine in general. I cannot control their thoughts about me but I can control those other things – I can live authentically, being true to myself and my core values and beliefs, I can choose to live with kindness as much as possible and, when it is not possible, I can choose to vent to proper outlets instead of sneaking around behind those people’s backs, spreading gossip or being mean about them to others who know them. I can control my reactions to things, I can choose and control what I focus on and how much value and control I allow any situation or any set of words I receive. I can choose positivity or negativity. There’s a lot I can control to make my life better – other people is not among them, no matter how hard I try. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lot easier said than done and again, I’m speaking with the wisdom, grace, and hard won battles that age has brought me.
One last bit of wisdom along the same thread of thinking…people do honestly think about you a metric shit-ton less than your mind tells you they do. People whispering in your vicinity? Likely not whispering about you, no matter what your mind tells you. People laughing in your vicinity? Not laughing at you, no matter what your mind tells you. People are generally not mad at you and they generally don’t hate you, just because they’re not actively coming up and trying to spend a lot of time with you or reaching out to you a lot. When people are talking to you, they’re often not judging you the entire time. I think this one is a lot worse for those with any anxiety based mental illnesses, but it happens to neurotypicals too, so again, this is a blanket statement. We all do have a bit of main character syndrome. It’s a universal thing, where we automatically assume that everything within our sphere somehow does have to do with us. It’s how brains work and it’s not an inherently bad thing, not until we allow that part of our brain and that thought process to overtake us and become everything to our detriments. We often forget that other people are whole people, with their own things going on in their lives, with their own temperaments and needs, with their own problems, pet peeves, little mundane everyday things to worry about, their own joys and triumphs. They’re often thinking about their own stuff, they’re often having their main character moments – the amount of time you occupy in their thoughts changes depending on how close the two of you are, but in general, for strangers, it’s about a 0.01% of the amount you think they are and for acquaintances and coworkers, it’s about 0.1% of the amount you think they are and for friends, it's about 1%.
Do you lie a lot? What’s the most recent lie you told?
Nope. I’m a really, really bad liar. It’s very obvious when I lie and on top of that, I just don’t like liars. If I hate liars so much, it would be hypocritical of me to lie a lot. The lies I tell are mostly well-intentioned, small white lies to reassure people. I think the last lie I told was to a coworker, just telling her that things will get better and will improve. Truth be told, I don’t know for sure if they will. Honestly, things could devolve into even more of a shit show. But I want to be hopeful, optimistic, and positive for those in my life and provide reassurance and I don’t think lying in that situation is bad, actually. It's one of those situations where kind lies are better than brutal truths.
Do you like or dislike surprises?
I hate surprises. I get anxious and I have some control issues. To say I’m a bit of a control freak isn’t exactly a lie – routine, schedules, and organization are a big compulsion when it comes to my OCD. To have my routine or perfectly scheduled day thrown off with a surprise? Anxious, spinning a little out of control, verge of a panic attack, no matter how nice and well-intentioned the surprise is. Literally, even someone just knocking on my door unexpectedly is enough to make me spiral a little, though I can deal with it better now.

What will make you click away from a fanfiction immediately?
First person point of view. I don’t like reading things written with the point of view of ‘I’ in general, both in published novels and that carries over into fanfiction. While I have managed to find a couple novels or series that are legally published fiction, like the Percy Jackson series, I have yet to find a fanfic that has gotten me to enjoy a first-person point of view. I can do both second and third point of view told stories in fanfic. I can fuck with fanfics where the chapters switch point of views from one character to the next. I just cannot personally fuck with ‘I did this thing’ or ‘he told me’ in fanfic. Also, no paragraph breaks immediately me click the back button. I’m sure I’ve missed some absolutely amazingly written stories by doing that, but they are simply too much of a headache to read.
All of them that don’t get asked, Bwhahaha! -fom K.V. Good luuuuuuuuck lol.

♦ What's an AU that you've always wanted?
(( Questions for the Mun! - @nebula1984 ))
.// Honestly, I love modern AUs! There’s bee na few discussions of a college AU involving the knights, and I always imagine Adelphel as the persnickety lacrosse player who had a free-ride scholarship- but alas! Perhaps some day.
Can you answer the 'What was your first anime (that you knew was an anime)' prompt?
C
It's actually a three way tie! It's between Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, and Ronin Warriors. They all came on about the same time, I think right in a row if I'm remembering my childhood days right. If I am, then they came on right after this show called Reboot and I'd always miss the last ten minutes of Reboot so I could go pee, grab water, and then sit right in front of my television so that I wouldn't have to risk getting up during commercial breaks, which might have meant I missed even a minute of any of these three shows.
prompt 32 + numbers 1, 6, 27, 49, 51, 84, 187, 188, 195, 212, and 215? 💛🌼
How are you?
Honestly, it’s not too bad today. Not great and like, fantastic, but it could be a lot worse. Had blood work this morning so I’m still a bit sore from that – new nurse and it felt like she was dragging the needle down every time she switched out a vial, but I know she was just doing her job the best she could!
Do you have any rules about food?
Unfortunately, yes. I do not have a healthy relationship with food, largely due to the way I was raised. I was raised with inherent moral value being attached to food and I still hold some of those rules, though I’m working on them all the time in therapy and by myself to get over them. No second helpings is a big rule, never use big plates, only side plates to eat off, etc. On top of that, I also have an issue with GERD so there’s a lot of rules that comes with that when it comes to what I can and can’t eat – it’s why I’m trying so hard to get my coffee intake down because coffee sets off GERD like nobody’s business. I also have to limit spicy foods to special occasions only, no more raw onions, limit tomatoes, no fast foods, or greasy foods, and keep chocolate to a minimum (I fucking love chocolate but HOLY SHIT, the absolute painful heartburn it leaves me with is not worth it at all.)
Do you have any phobias?
Yep. I hate clowns. HATE them. They terrify me. While I love horror movies, I can’t do the Terrifier series or the original IT mini-series with Tim Curry. I also have an irrational fear of underground spaces. I don’t even like going into basements and start breathing really quickly once I’m down there. I donated my body to science after I die partly because I cannot stand the thought of being buried even when I die. Tight, close spaces also cause panic attacks, even just watching it. There’s a scene in the Shawshank Redemption (love the movie) where I have to physically leave the room because I hyperventilate and almost puke just watching it.
Are you allergic to anything? If so, what?
Yep. I’m allergic to citrus fruits – oranges, lemons, limes, etc.
What’s your favourite scent? And on the opposite sex?
Ha….okay, so this is where I admit that, despite writing lots of ‘what smells do they like’/’what do they smell like’ headcanons, I have kind of a broken sniffer. I can’t really smell, not a whole lot. Like, for me to smell something, the scent has to be ungodly strong, like freshly sprayed skunk, and even then, it’s not a particularly strong smell when I do pick it up in my nose. It’s not complete anosmia, but damn close.
A song that’s been stuck in your head.
Drunk text by Henry Moodie.
Put your music player on shuffle and write the first ten songs that play.
Bad (Workout Mix), Copper Brown by Muddy Waters, Someone New by Hozier, Treat You Better by Shawn Mendes, A Minute Without You by Hanson, He Gets That From Me by Reba McEntire, Silver Bells by Perry Como, Halo by Beyonce, Louder Than Ever by Cold War Kids.
If you could be any character, from any literary work, who would you choose to be?
Oh, this one is hard because I love so many different characters and shows. Unfortunately, a lot of my absolute favourites don’t have an easy go of it, so I’d just be switching from one tough spot to another. I guess, just because of recency bias though, I’m going to go with Train from Black Cat, because he’s got a cool job, awesome partners, and that gun is pretty fucking nifty.
Why you follow me
Because you’re an absolutely amazing person. On top of that, your blog is cute and it’s fun to scroll. I get intrigued by some of your posts and I’ve added things to my watchlist just from seeing them on your blog.
Leave me a cute message
I don’t know how cute it is but…you’re doing an amazing job! You got this. Enjoy and drink up all the last moments of this chapter of your life and know that you’ll always carry it with you moving forward into the next chapter. It’s just the end to one book in a series and I know that, as cool as this book was, the next one’s going to be an absolute best-seller!
