Reminder that Murata Yusuke is basically the real life manga artist version of a shounen anime protagonist.

Like. Imagine you're just an NPC in the world of Naruto, One Piece, whatever. You know some ninjutsu, or you have some lame-ass devil fruit power. You're not a big shot but you get by. Then, after some time, you hear about this weird guy who's starting to make waves among your peers. Word's getting around that he's not half-bad, but he keeps saying he wants to be Hokage/Pirate King etc. So you go check him out. And his work (art in Murata Yusuke's case) looks like this:

You're like, huh. They're right, he's good. Better than you are, in fact. You can see a solid foundation and serious skill in there. But Hokage/Pirate King???

Sure, whatever.

But the thing is. The THING IS. It's kinda impossible to ignore him. Because shit keeps getting crazier and crazier, and next thing you know, HE'S ACTUALLY DONE IT.

And now you see him pulling superhuman feats at least once every week, and to everyone else it's just a regular Tuesday, they've just accepted as fact that he can do all sorts of crazy shit like this no sweat:

But you still remember when he used to be Some Guy who was better than you but still Normal Levels of Good and sometimes it still feels surreal and yeahhhhh now you need to go lie down about it.

Tl, dr; Murata Yusuke's Super Saiyan Transformation over the course of Eyeshield 21's manga serialisation was absolutely insane and I will never stop thinking about it.
