I don't know about you, but that doesn't sounds very human to me, even if looks like this person... somewhat read the fic? But not really? Also they're just dumping the summary I wrote and some of the tags at random. Very weird and not what one usually comments on...

I went on their profile and there wasn't a single bookmark, no description, no nothing anywhere. I searched the username everywhere I could, but nothing came up, at least nothing conclusive.

This sucks. I was excited when I received the notification, but now I'm just mad

One of my favourite things about the Duel Monsters anime's portrayal of the Kaiba Brothers is how well the writers executed the contradicting nature of Seto being Mokuba's role model despite Mokuba being the morally-sound one Seto heavily relies on to balance out his attitude so the life they've built for themselves doesn't implode on them again

(season 3 in Japanese sure did not hold back on nonstop providing the puzzle pieces for that "background" world-building and character explorations)

Seto is Mokuba's role model all the way in terms of determination and unabashedly being yourself, even if the world is against you for it:

But it's hysterical to me that with, like, 90% of the ways Seto actively GOES ABOUT these things, Mokuba's like:

This is such a hilariously consistent thing between these two. BOTH of them are written to be aware of that and that's what makes it work lol

Seto KNOWS that Mokuba needs to work backwards with the attitude he's being exposed to on a daily, but he's not too worried about it because he also knows Mokuba has long figured out for himself that he doesn't wanna act like that™ while still seeing his big brother for the hardworking, determined, and authentic person (with a deep down [and ngl, sometimes DEEP DOWN] heart of gold™) he is. For the better and the worse.

And what's best about this is that this is an unspoken mutual agreement. They never talked about this, it just happened naturally while growing up lol which keeps them in this low-key hilarious status quo of Seto trying to be an example for Mokuba on how to stand your ground in life by more-often-than-not utilizing jerkish methods towards everyone else,

And Mokuba then thinking to himself "Nah Bro, I'm not gonna do ✨️that✨️, but I WILL take note of your good intentions, though 👍"

Which, in turn, means that Seto is, in fact, 100% succeeding at teaching Mokuba to stand his ground on being determined and unabashedly himself. Seto's merely doing so by serving as a well-intentioned negative example that Mokuba doesn't want to emulate in anything but grit lol

Continuing with the Silm Modern (70s) AU, I have a comic featuring Mae and Glorfindel for an instagram art challenge for this month (I kinda gave up on it though)!

The Quenya that Mae is saying is "Ece nin istuva imar Makalaurë Feanorion?" which means "Do you know where Maglor Feanorion lives?" (still, my translations to Quenya is still very bad so take this with a spoon of salt). The person the two are talking to is very very confused

at this point, any argument bashing Sakura Haruno should be null and void when you consider the fact that she was written to be as unlikable as possible. you know that man couldn't write a good female character if it repeatedly hit him in the head so why are we still arguing?

i actively choose not to engage in any sakura slander because it usually comes from a place of some deep rooted misogyny and as i've mentioned, the severe lack of care the author took in developing her character in general compared to her male counterparts, which people conveniently seem to overlook anytime they make irrational and illogical points about how "bad" she is. so it's hard to argue when you're already set up to fail in the first place.

i'm willing to bet that if team seven (and every other team) were all boys, we wouldn't be having this conversation. thus seeing all this discourse surrounding my babygirl still take place in today's age disappoints me so much because a lot of what people don't like about her stems from the fact that kishi just didn't know wtf to do with her...

...except make people hate her more and more with each episode/chapter.

i'm not even joking. to me, everything sakura said and did was written in a way to either deliberately make her look stupid, weak or both. and the fact that people don't clock that genuinely pisses me off sometimes.
