Edit: As a note...Gellert is a sorta common German SURname...it's definitely not a given name. And the meaning? "From the Germanic personal name Gelhard, a cognate of the verb gelten, meaning 'to sacrifice', 'to recompense'." *snicker* 'To sacrifice' for sure.

(Though, in my experience, 'gelten' more often takes more on the meaning of well, "counting as, applying to").

My dictionary of family names in fact, says, that Gellert comes from Upper or Middle German "gellen", as in "scream loudly, sounding loudly", which...let's be fair, is also a valid attribution

Since I haven't really been feeling super creative, but I want to have a theme for Allie's future children, I decided I would make another poll! I really like having some input on the story from you all! 😊

The poll is here and will be open for a few days.

The options are:

1. Letter theme (I'm leaning towards the letter T, after Theo)

2. Nature/Animal-inspired names (since Allie loves animals 🤣) I'm thinking girls would have more plant/flower names and boys would have names like Fox, Bear, etc.

3. Uncommon biblical names.

4. "Trendee names" a la Karissa Collins. Names spelled in youneek ways like McKayleigh, Aynjel, etc.

After seeing Duggar Data’s post about Katey Nakatsu’s family I’m calling it that Jed and her children will have an R theme since her dad’s middle name is Raymond and Jed’s middle name is Robert. And I hope they name their first son Robert Ray so we can call him Robbie Ray lolol
