My brain is numb. Why? Because I'm writing a Yule themed game for purchase. It will be out some time next week. The writing isn't even what is getting to me. You know what is? Trying to figure out a title for this thing.

I hate naming things. Book titles. Characters. Animals. Anything... I'm going to be honest, most of the RO's were referred to by their traits long before I came up with a name.

Anyway, this ramble is pointless. But I thought I would say hello.

i wanna change my name to wax but i'll literally break down if anyone calls me ear wax. candle wax is beautiful and lovely and significant to me but EAR WAX IS THE WORST AND I DONT CARE HOW NONBINARY I AM I CANNOT NAME MYSELF CANDLE WAX

Me: Hey I'm thinking of changing the body name since the body name is too feminine and we all hate it. If we do, I'd probably stop going by Riku since I'd like to associate with the body name as host and Riku isn't on the table because it'd make me look like a Kingdom Hearts stan or kinnie when I'm not.

Person: Oh how about Axel?

Me: Ah yes, I'll go from one character in Kingdom Hearts to the most passing "normal" name in Kingdom Hearts.

So I've just been thinking about how weird names are, like there are a few people who know me by a completely different name because I just told them the wrong one,

and honestly some of the wrong ones suit me better than the right ones. Also not many people suit their name anway, especially trans people. I mean honestly, let someone who knows you best name you. I mean I am very aware the name I go by, my middle name Eloise, does not suit me.

That's kinda why I love nick names, they suit people better. Like Eloise doesn't suit me, but El does.

Also iconic names are not cool, trust me on this. Look at me, I go by Eloise purely because my first name sucks! I can recognize that I would have options if I met someone named my first name, Strawberry.

Also I love roleplaying, and I love dnd, I have played many characters and people have generally known me as that person I am playing.

Honestly most of this is to talk about all of the names people know me by lol, so here is the list,

Eloise, El, Elly, Strawberry, Strawbs, Strawby, berry, Riley, WOOF, wood, Xilo, Xipy Birchwood, Ankco Weather , Rose Red, Vaila, madem, Occult ant, Brian, Dr animated, Birch, and Michael Red,

My big question is, what is a real name if what everyone knows you by is fake.
