What about Mai x Naoya

i’m not against NaoMai by any means, but i just can’t get into them wholeheartedly tbh. i can only see Naoya’s attraction to Mai as a projection of his attraction to Maki and his desire to dominate her/be dominated by her. which is a whole thing that i won’t get into because we’ll be here all night.

November 1st, 2018: Naomai (尚舞) of Nakasato (中里) in Kamishichiken has officially begun her minarai period! Her name is very unique as the Mai (舞) kanji isn’t used often in Kyoto. Her misedashi is expected on November 27th, right near the end of the month. Like Gion Kobu, Kamishichiken has shown a venerable bumper crop of new maiko this year, which is always great news for such a small district.
